The electronic document management system Document flow of Prof allows to organize work with different types and types of corporate documents and also to organize management and control of corporate business processes of the enterprise. "Document flow Prof" is original development and can be used in the form of the separate solution based on the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform at the same time work in the mode of the managed forms is supported (including in the web client).
The program allows to carry out integration by means of DCOM technology into other applications working at the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform. At the same time there is no need to change a program code of applications, all setup is made in a user mode.

In new version 3.5 of an electronic document management system Document flow of Prof appeared the visual editor of business processes. Besides, in the new version the functionality is significantly expanded, about 50 new objects are added and more than 20 thousand lines of the new code are implemented. All new objects, including the visual editor of business processes, can work in the mode thin or the web client of the platform of 1C via the web browser. Design of business processes using the visual editor allows users, consultants and heads quickly and to visually create own business processes without resorting at the same time to services of programmers.
The business processes projected in the visual editor can be any complexity. Besides, some processes it is possible to include other processes, and also to use separation and merge of branches of routes, to use choice points and points of conditional branches.
In the new version of EDMS "Document Flow Prof" there was available a resource management of the enterprise from business processes, and also use of timers for a stop and further work of business processes at approach of a certain date or an event.

In September, 2011 there was new version 3.6 of an electronic document management system Document flow of Prof. Version 3.6 included a number of innovations, among them – a subsystem of technical support of users of HelpDesk. The subsystem of HelpDesk allows to automate intra-corporate technical support service. HelpDesk solves the following problems of the enterprise:
- Accounting and processing of requests of users for technical support, preparation and sending solutions on the arising problems
- The organization of accounting of the equipment of the enterprise and incidents with it, accounting of software licenses
- Filling and effective use of the corporate knowledge base on the basis of often arising questions of users
Control of a route of a request for technical support is exercised using separate business process of a system, this business process can be easily changed and configured in the visual editor of business processes of EDMS "Document Flow Prof". By preparation of answers (solutions) the staff of service of technical support can use the corporate knowledge base and also attach to answers any documents and images, both from the knowledge base, and from a local disk. In a work progress over the request users can communicate with the staff of service HelpDesk by means of the built-in forum of the workflow system.
