2023: Electric Vehicle Sales Start
In early June 2023, the Dongfeng E70 electric car began to be sold in Russia. Earlier, on its basis, the assembly of the Evolve i-Pro model began in the Russian Federation.
According to the publication AutoNews.ru, Dongfeng E70 costs 2.83 million rubles in Russia, excluding discounts, while in China - from 142,800 to 153,800 yuan (1.62-1.75 million rubles at the exchange rate as of June 6, 2023).
The dimensions of the electric car are: 4680 mm in length, 1720 mm in width and 1530 mm in height. Wheelbase - 2700 mm. The electric motor is E70 powered by a high-energy solid-state lithium battery developed as part of a joint project between the Dongfeng Technology Center and the Ganfeng Lithium Battery.
The electric car is equipped with one electric motor installed in front. The power plant is 150 liters. from. and 230 Nm of torque, and acceleration to 100 km per hour takes 9.9 seconds. One of its charges is enough for 420 kilometers on the NEDC cycle. Charging an AC battery with a capacity of seven kilowatts takes 8.5 hours (from five to 100%), constant (75 kilowatts) - 36 minutes (30-80%).
The equipment of the car includes parking sensors, climate control, course stability stabilization system (ESC), ABS, audio system with two speakers, front and side airbags, electric heating of rear view mirrors, anti-slip system and tire pressure sensor.
In China, E70 also has an improved version with the Pro prefix - it was shown in the summer of 2022. The Aeolus E70 Pro differs from the standard E70 in its exterior design with bright yellow decorative accents. The Evolve i-Pro has the same power plant, battery and dynamic characteristics as the Dongfeng E70, and the differences boil down to different logos and a different name.[1]
