DriverPack Solution

Program for computer-assisted retrieval and installation of drivers. In June, 2011 the number of users of the DriverPack Solution program reached 10 million. Development of upgraded versions of the program is regularly conducted, the base of drivers is updated.

From the moment of creation of the very first version of the DriverPack Solution program uses popularity at users. The program is available to downloading absolutely free of charge on a developer's site (drp.su). It distinguishes DriverPack Solution from competitors and attracts everything new and new users.

The developer of the program Artur Kuzyakov became the silver prize-winner of tender of young innovators "the Innovatstonny potential of youth of 2010" and the Moscow international salon of inventions and the innovative technologies of "Arkhimed-2010".

2016: DriverPack 17 version

 On August 15, 2016 the DriverPack Solution company announced start The 17th version of the free assistant of DriverPack.

In the 17th version of the program the upgraded fitting algorithm of drivers is used. Acting machine learning technologies of DriverPack on the basis defines what driver will better work on each, single computer. The developer company stated: the program studies the selection mechanism and therefore it is continuously improved.

The application interface changed, it became minimalistichny, it is more clear also for beginning users.

The size of the DriverPack software loader became of 280 CB. Developers hope that users will be able to load for read seconds the program at slow and unstable connection to network.

The company stated about 200% growth of speed of installation of drivers and to achieve such results, developers upgraded a loading algorithm. In the 17th version it multithreaded and asynchronous.

In the version of DriverPack 17 the Protect technology is used. It is supposed that it will protect the computer from harmful, advertizing programs and plug-ins with which elimination as developers consider, antiviruses and means of blocking of advertizing often do not cope. With this function the user can carry out monitoring of the system and delete all harmful and useless programs taking the place and consuming computer resources.

At the heart of DriverPack Protect base of advertizing and harmful plug-ins and programs which long time was brought together by developers from DriverPack company. The system effectiveness was undertaken by the algorithm acting on the basis of an indicator of the user trust: to learn what software "is not loved" by users, DriverPack developers learned to collect data on Uninstall Rate, i.e. to find the programs deleted by users more often than others.

The latest version of DriverPack was replenished with a set of drivers for a wide range of devices. The program will be able to find suitable relevant drivers for any computer.

DriverPack blocks collecting of user data

On October 14, 2015 the DriverPack company released the version of the program of the same name for OS of the Windows family in which it, according to statements of developers, implemented a legal obstacle to data collection and turned off control from Microsoft, without violating conditions of the license agreement. The release of software became some kind of answer to information that the Windows 10 operating system collects data on each action of the user and sends them to office of the company for "analysis".

Advertizing DriverPack Solution (2015)

DriverPack developers acted according to "a license letter". They added special rules for a firewall and blocked sending numerous data which collecting the Microsoft company prohibited to turn off via the hosts file.

Intention of Microsoft company was realized together with Windows 10. The new version of OS collects data on the user's computer, on each file on its hard drive and about each depressed key (in literal sense of this word). Especially she is interested  in logins and passwords. DriverPack developers legally blocked collecting of all these data and to disconnect spywares.

DriverPack disconnects programs of shadowing, telemetry and deletes the corresponding autoupdates on versions Windows 7 Windows 8.

Shadowing the user is kept not only the Windows system, but many applications and services. In particular, separate programs spies are sewed in a packet of Microsoft Office. DriverPack considers these features of OS.

The program changes privacy settings in the register and turns off data collection in all Windows applications.

There was a version of DriverPack 16

 On June 9, 2015 the DriverPack Solution company announced start of the 16th version of DriverPack.

The program is placed in free access and is available to loading.

 DriverPack 16 works at essentially new platform which is completely covered with autotests. In the program innovations, including unusual design and modular architecture appeared. Developers reduced DriverPack start time, and the module of start received the digital signature, is completely rewritten and equipped with more convenient functions.

Unlike the previous versions,  DriverPack 16 has simple minimalist design with support of several interface languages. For bigger convenience of users the button "set everything" is added and the possibility of calculation of number of the drivers and programs, necessary for installation, is implemented.

Saving advantages of the previous version, software differs in full support of the command line. At the same time users can make own changes to the code with the normal text editor. Also in  DriverPack 16 analytics systems capabilities by means of a combination of Google Analytics and Yandex are expanded . Metrics.
