In August 2024, it became known that the Russian company, "Hals-Development" which is part of the group, VTB had introduced innovative technologies at the construction site of the Dubinin 'Sky business center, including exoskeletons and mixed reality platforms. Together with the contractor LLC, "Foundation" the company also applies robotics digital solutions.
According to Kommersant, Dubinin 'Sky was the first facility on which Hals-Development uses high-tech tools. Among them are exoskeletons designed to facilitate physical exertion on workers, and mixed reality platforms that allow you to increase the accuracy of acceptance of work performed. The company also said that this practice will be expanded to other construction projects of the developer.
Exoskeletons, which are used at the construction site, help workers perform difficult physical tasks with less stress on the back and arms. These devices are worn over workwear and make it easier to move bricks, concrete blocks and other massive items. The use of exoskeletons reduces the risk of injuries and occupational diseases associated with overload of joints and muscles, and also contributes to improving safety at the construction site.
Mixed reality platforms allow digital building models to be integrated into the actual construction environment. With their help, the compliance of the work performed with the design drawings is checked, which increases the accuracy and speeds up the process of acceptance of work. As a result, deviations from the design documentation can be detected and eliminated in the early stages.
In addition, a number of robotic systems are used at the construction site. Among them is a dismantling robot, which is remotely controlled and ensures safety when disassembling structures. The operator can control the robot from afar, which avoids dangerous situations and optimizes the visibility of the dismantling object.[1]
