2018: Start of a cloud service by Mastertel operator

On December 20, 2018 it became known that the telecom operator Mastertel will start the next cloud service for clients within Equinix Cloud Exchange. The provided product will allow customers to implement innovations in a cloud for improvement of quality of work in the conditions of promptly developing technologies.

Main objective of the program – to provide to clients of the company an opportunity quickly, easily and to conveniently integrate the IT resources into global clouds. Thanks to this program clients Mastertel will be able to implement the projects with the help of global cloud resources, such as Microsoft Azure, Oracle, IBM Softlayer, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Huawei 3data Cloud and others.

Reliability of work of clouds is extremely important, the companies aim to use data for quality improvement of service and providing different services. However success of a cloud depends on integration, protection and optimization of the data which are stored in any cloud environment. Our solution means the organization of L2 channel from office of the customer and/or any point of exchange (MMTS-9, MMTS-10 or others), and excludes data transmission via the Internet. Thus, customers in read minutes will be able to organize direct L2 connection to reliable infrastructure with the guaranteed technical characteristics and to use the physical and virtual resources required by it. It will allow to lower considerably total costs on project implementation on placement and data storage according to requirements of the Russian legislation. All services are provided through a cloud platform of Equinix Cloud Exchange within the partnership agreement with IXcellerate company. According to terms of the contract, IXcellerate acts as official reseller Equinix and can offer customers any services based on a global ecosystem of the partner.
