The two-armed robot, developed by the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology, debuted at the National Theater of Korea, directing musicians from the country's national orchestra. The humanoid-faced robot initially bowed to viewers and began waving his arms to control the pace of the live performance. The event was attended by leading musicians of South Korea and 3 classics were performed.

On June 6 30, 2023, the EveR robot led the musicians independently and in collaboration with a human conductor. It is reported that the performance passed without blots. Throughout the performance, the blue eyes of EveR 6 looked at the musicians without flashing and the humanoid robot only nodded his head to the beat of the music.

"Improvising and communicating with musicians in real time is the next big step! The robot was able to convey such detailed movements much better than I could have imagined. But the critical weakness of EveR 6 is that it doesn't know how to listen, "said music columnist Song Joo-ho.

College student Kim Ji-min, 19, says AI did the job perfectly. From a technical point of view, the robot was able to quite accurately repeat the necessary gestures of the conductor. However, he still lacks feedback from the musicians, said the concert director Choi Soo Yong. He added that the experiment showed that robots and people can well play music together, including when performing the most difficult parts.^[1]
