Start of sales in Russia
As it became known on October 19, 2022, the first dealership of the new Russian brand of Evolute electric vehicles opened in Moscow.
Motorinvest has opened the first dealership for the sale and maintenance of the Evolute electric car in the capital. So far, only one model is presented in the showroom, the i-Pro sedan, the assembly of which was launched at the end of September 2022.
The electric car is available in a single configuration and costs 2.99 million rubles. The model is subject to the state program of preferential car loans, so it can be purchased at a discount of 925 thousand rubles.
"Autoreview," in turn, clarifies that Moscow the Evolute dealership opened on the site of a former car dealership, and Lexus the i-Pro is adjacent to electric cars of other brands. In November 2022, Voyah Free crossovers will also appear there - a sign with the name of this Chinese brand is already available on the building. Voyah will be imported by Motorinvest, which is producing Evolute.
By October 19, 2022, Evolute's official website has information about nine dealerships. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, we are talking about Kazan, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and Simferopol. However, so far cars are not available everywhere. For example, the Voronezh salon told Chinese Cars that the first batch of Evolutes is expected just the other day.
The largest novelty of Evolute - the i-Van minivan - has become a clone of the Dongfeng LingZhi EV model, which survived restyling in 2020. The electric car is driven by a 123-horsepower (300 Nm) engine mounted at the rear wheels, but due to the mass of 2.02 tons, the 53-kilowatt battery provides a slightly lower range: up to 410 km in the Chinese NEDC cycle.[1]
Start of production
On September 28, 2022, the official launch of the production of electric vehicles under the Evolve brand by the Lipetsk company Motorinvest took place. The first model to roll off the assembly line was the Evolute i-Pro sedan.
The electric car is equipped with a 53kW traction battery, the full charge of which will last for 420km of mileage without recharging. The power of the electric motor is 150 horsepower, the torque is 260 Nm. Official dealers will begin accepting orders for the sedan in October 2022.
{{quote "Today we are faced with the task of returning to the market a variety of models and configurations and expanding the range of cars available to our citizens with state support," says the Deputy Prime Minister - head Ministry of Industry and Trade RUSSIAN FEDERATION Denis Manturov, whose words the press service of the department quotes on September 28, 2022. Today, another step has been taken in this direction: Evolute cars are joining the program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for preferential car loans, for which (as in the future and for other electric cars produced in the Russian Federation) there will be an increased discount - 35% of the cost. }} The production plan of the Lipetsk plant provides for the production of 2 thousand electric vehicles of these models in 2022. In 2023, the Motorinvest enterprise will also begin production of the I-Jet cross-coupe.
In 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of the Lipetsk region and the Motorinvest company signed a special investment contract to introduce technology for the production of environmentally friendly urban vehicles based on traction engines. The planned investments of Motorinvest exceed 13 billion rubles over 11 years. It is expected that by the time the SPIC expires, the level of product localization will reach 5000 points. During the implementation of the project, more than 242 thousand cars will be produced.[2]
