Implementation of 15 AI-based services

In the ecosystem "Exon" continued the development of tools based on artificial intelligence. The development team has implemented 15 AI functions aimed at automating workflows, speeding up data processing and reducing the share of manual operations when working with documentation. The functions are integrated into various modules of the system, including Stroycontrol, IT, PID and user support services. Their implementation allows you to optimize everyday tasks and improve the efficiency of the system. This was announced on March 11, 2026 by the Exon company.

Implementation of 15 AI-based services

According to the company, an AI assistant has been developed to work with the FIR, which automatically fills in the "Type of Work" fields to form comments and inspections. In addition, the system intelligently offers the user the relevant regulatory documentation corresponding to the description of the identified comment. AI allows you to upload specifications from project files: you can generate tables with lists of materials, products and equipment and optimize the search for the necessary information.

AI-assistant is also used when working with IT. The algorithm analyzes the content of the record and automatically determines the type of work when added to the list.

Some of the developments are implemented for specialized tasks. For example, a laboratory analysis service extracts key metrics from protocols and helps structure data for further analysis. Another solution allows you to compare the IT with the IFC model, comparing the actual work performed with the information of the digital model of the object.

The AI assistant also closes several tasks in the Stroycontrol module. When creating comments and inspections, the system automatically determines the type of work. In addition, the algorithm analyzes the text of the comment and offers suitable regulatory documents that can be used in the design.

AI helps in working with estimates when working with primary documentation. If the user downloads the estimate in an arbitrary format, the system analyzes its structure and leads it to a system format. The module determines the document lines and their level in the hierarchy, forming a correct data structure.

One of the key areas of development is the automation of document preparation. The system implements a mechanism for automatically filling in mandatory fields in orders, including the number and date of the document. A similar approach is used when working with HSE: the system analyzes the type of document and helps to correctly fill in the necessary fields.

The AI assistant is also used in the technical support chatbot. Users were able to send several calls within the same dialogue, which optimizes interaction with the service team. Also, the bot can answer typical questions using the current knowledge base.

AI is also applied within the development team. The company is developing an internal artificial intelligence laboratory, where tools are created to improve development efficiency. Among them are an assistant agent for writing code, as well as solutions for automatic refactoring and searching for potential vulnerabilities.

Dedicated BOQ tool

The Exon construction management platform continues to develop tools for information modeling, presenting a set of updates aimed at improving data accuracy, design quality and compliance of models with international standards. Exon (Anik Lab) announced this on March 5, 2026.

The platform has a specialized tool for working with BOQs (BOQs), which allows you to directly upload used volumes and materials from the BIM model. This functionality provides more rational and accurate estimates, minimizing manual labor and errors in data transmission. Users have the ability to create complex calculation schemes, bind THP records to model elements, and automatically update volumes with any changes, which sets the stage for correct value planning.

This block is complemented by geometric check functionality, designed to find intersections and collisions in the model in the early stages. Customizable checks with flexible filtering conditions, the ability to specify tolerances, and visual visualization of conflicts in 3D allow designers to systematically identify and resolve errors, such as volume doubling or impossible design intersections. This improves the quality of modeling and minimizes costly errors during the construction phase, ensuring a higher level of project execution.

To guarantee meaningful, not just geometric, data quality, Exon now supports model validation to the open IDS (Information Delivery Specification) standard developed by buildingSMART. Since IFC is mandatory for exchange with customers and expertise, automated verification of compliance with predefined attribute and data structure requirements becomes critical. The new tool allows you to download IDS files and perform validation directly in the Exon environment, replacing individual applications and providing work in one window mode. This ensures unambiguous interpretation of the data by all project participants and ensures that the outgoing IFC models meet customer requirements and standards, saving time on approvals and manual checks.

CIM is no longer just a 3D model, but structured data for making decisions at all stages of the life cycle of the object, - said Grigory Karpov, head of the CIM department. - The updates presented are our direct response to market requests. We give specialists the opportunity not only to create a model, but also to strictly control its filling in accordance with international standards, as well as automatically receive accurate data for calculations. This is a major step towards improving technology discipline in the industry and a real saving of time and resources for our customers.

Start the Processes direction

The developers of the Exon construction management platform have launched the Processes direction. It allows you to automate atypical scenarios for document coordination and working interactions within the company, even beyond the framework of construction projects, and thereby creates a single digital space for all internal operations of the organization. Exon (Anik Lab) announced this on February 24, 2026.

The core of this area was the ability to agree and sign, using an electronic signature (EP), any documents, including those not related to construction projects, giving them full legal significance. For each such process, you can configure a flexible route if the company has internal regulations. The system allows you to quickly revise the matching chain, replace those responsible, ensure continuity of operations and save time by automating operations. In the current version, a linear coordination procedure is implemented, but in the next update a parallel version will appear - it is already being tested together with the "Activation" direction.

If the organization does not have debugged internal processes, the administrator can create an approval template, independently determining the procedure for transferring the document, responsible persons and their actions. This avoids the chaos of manual transfers, loss of documents and disruption of approval dates. Thanks to templates, employees no longer need to spend time finding the next conciliator or figuring out the order of action. For example, if a specialist from the Moscow branch must transfer the documentation to a colleague from another city, who went on vacation and did not inform about the person replacing him, then you will not have to look for contacts and explain in detail what kind of document it is and to whom it needs to be transferred further. The system automatically sends the information along the specified route to the desired person, which will save time and allow employees to focus on more important tasks.

In addition, the "Processes" direction allows you to centrally manage applications - track their submission to various services: AXO, technical support, logistics and logistics and others. For example, a new employee can create a request for a laptop, and it will go all the way to approval until the final status is "Successful." In the future, you can attach confirmation in the form of photos or files to completed tasks . Previously, such processes required separate systems and sending documents by mail or internal corporate portal. Now they are initiated, matched and fixed in "Exon" without switching between windows. This is especially convenient in the context of project licensing of the platform, where the number of users is not limited.

A separate tool in the "Processes" is aimed at working with instructions. Their staging is available to any user by default. The tool is useful for monitoring progress on tasks ranging from reporting to weekly correspondence. It is also ideal for capturing and tracking decisions made at meetings.

File:Aquote1.png
The launch of the "Processes" direction is our response to the market's request for digital maturity. We are moving from construction management to management of the entire customer company, - comments Andrey Motunov, head of the Processes department. - Now the company can work in a single window, involving in the digital circuit even those employees who are not directly involved in construction: lawyers, HR, administrative department. This eliminates the information gap between the construction site and the office, reduces the routine and minimizes operational risks. Our goal is to create a holistic ecosystem for business. The plans include deep integration of "Processes" with all Exon modules.

Organization of data transfer from BI Analytics module storage

The developers of the Exon construction management platform on January 14, 2026 presented large-scale updates that will allow customers to use analytics tools twice as efficiently. The development touched on two key areas: project analytics and direct access to data through the API. These updates give users an unprecedented level of control and flexibility in managing construction projects.

One of the major improvements was the organization of data transfer from the storage of the BI Analytics module. This fundamental change gives participating companies a whole new opportunity - self-dealing with data. Now, organizations no longer need to rely on standard reports to obtain documentation information from the Design and Survey Module (PID). After passing a simple authorization procedure through the Exon integration command, companies can directly upload raw data through the API.

This gives users a tool to create their own dashboards and reports that perfectly match their internal processes and requirements. This flexibility is especially valuable for large companies with a staff of analysts who can now directly transfer data from the Exon platform to their corporate systems and build exactly the graphs they need to make strategic decisions.

Another major refinement was the development of project analytics. Data visualization has now been added to the FIR and Stroycontrol directions. These dashboards turn disparate data into visual management tools that save time for managers and increase process transparency.

Visualization of data modulo FIR has been added to the design analysis. In each diagram, data detail is implemented with the ability to go to a specific cipher. Users can now instantly receive a holistic picture of the design and working documentation (PD and RD): from tracking the load of performers and identifying problem areas in coordination to monitoring compliance with the deadlines and quality of kits.

In terms of RD analytics, the following are implemented: Status model of RD sets received by the customer.

  • Summary of contractors with the largest number of WD sets in operation.
  • Display of WD sets with the largest deviation from the planned WBS date.
  • Chart with the list of initiators with the highest average delay of VLOOKUP.
  • Table with packages with the highest number of current comments.

In terms of PD analytics, the following are implemented:

  • Status model of PD sets received by the customer.
  • Diagram with PD sets, for which the results of the examination were obtained.
  • Table with PD packages with the largest number of current comments.

As part of the project analytics, visualization of data modulo Stroycontrol was implemented. This enables managers to see the overall effectiveness of project construction controls in real time, track key indicators by month, and respond quickly to emerging issues.

The Stroycontrol analysis is a summary of the current results of the construction control in the context of the project, where the data are aggregated by participants and demonstrated over time by months. In addition, it is possible to group information on Comments, Inspections, Acts and Regulations with the possibility of detailing to a specific project.

{{quote "We move from providing standard reports to creating a flexible analytical environment. On the one hand, we give ready-made, "sharpened" tools for specific processes - dashboards for PIR and Stroykontrol, which immediately begin to benefit. On the other hand, we open data through the API, giving our customers the freedom to create their own unique graphs. Our immediate plans are to introduce project analytics in the form of dashboards for all modules, as well as expand the API for self-building analytics, "said Roman Solomatin, Head of WBS and Analytics at Exon. }}

2025: Integration with the Unified Digital Expertise Platform

The Exon construction project management platform and the Unified Digital Expertise Platform (ECPE) have been integrated. This step is aimed at creating a single data environment for all participants in the construction process. Exon (Anik Lab) announced this on November 24, 2025.

Integration will automate the transfer of data and documents between the review and construction processes, which will significantly reduce the time spent on coordinating design documentation and engineering surveys. Participants in the construction process will be able to manage both the coordination of the project through the ECPE and the construction process through the Exon digital platform in one window mode.

File:Aquote1.png
The dynamic development of the ECPE, which celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2025, demonstrates the readiness of the construction market for deep digitalization. As of November 2025, more than 250,000 projects have already been uploaded to the platform, and the total number of users exceeds 78,000 people. Integration with Exon will become a logical continuation of the development of ECPE as the main tool for project management at the primary stage of the facility's life cycle, "said Alexander Perepelitsa, Deputy Head of the Center for Digital Transformation of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
File:Aquote2.png

Key benefits of integration:

  • End-to-end digital flow: elimination of duplication data and manual input during transfer information from expertise to the construction stage.
  • Shorten time: Accelerate processes through automated system-to-system interactions.
  • Increased transparency: all project participants receive current status for each stage - from the conclusion of the examination to the progress of construction work.
  • A single data environment: reducing the number of errors and forming a holistic digital history of the object.

File:Aquote1.png
For Exon, partnership with ECPE is a strategic step that allows customers to start working with the project at the earliest, key stage, - said Denis Kolov, commercial director of the Exon platform. - We combine two digital circuits to enable the industry to manage the entire lifecycle of the construction site efficiently and without data loss. This is a new level of maturity for digital construction in Russia.
