2021: Announcement of the luxury fitness tracker Fitbit Luxe
In mid-April 2021, Fitbit introduced its Luxe luxury fitness tracker. The novelty will arrive in stores on April 19 at a price of $149.95, which includes six months of Fitbit Premium services.
Luxe fitness tracker is designed for 24-hour wear and is suitable for people "with different wrist size and different skin color." According to Fitbit, Luxe is the thinnest touch-screen fitness tracker available on the market and will not interfere with night sleep. One charge will last up to five days of tracker operation.
Luxe includes a replaceable silicone strap with the ability to adjust size. If desired, the customer can change the color of the strap or buy a woven, leather or mesh stainless steel strap from the elite Gorjana jewelry brand. If desired, customers will be able to purchase Luxe with a Gorjana strap from the limited collection for $199.95.
The new tracker does not use buttons, and data input is made through a color touch OLED screen. You can manage Luxe using a special app for iOS and Android. Luxe also provides GPS functions when interfacing with a phone, so the customer will have to take a smartphone with him to track runs or walks. In addition, Luxe includes Fitbit Pay and Spotify controls .
Along with other newest trackers and watches, Luxe conducts a stress assessment with a companion app that determines the activity level, sleep pattern and heart rate of the user, and then makes recommendations. With the app, Luxe can also track a host of other metrics, such as breathing rate, skin temperature, mood, sleep and menstrual cycles. In the future, the tracker will also be able to record the oxygen level in (blood Sp02).[1]
