2024: Tedix 3.2.2 with updated web interface
Fort Telecom on February 8, 2024 presented a global update of V2X devices and the first web interface in Russia for monitoring and configuring V2X equipment.
In February, version 3.2.2 became available to users of V2X TEDIX solutions ON. Despite the intermediate numbering, the update includes functionality that takes V2X availability to the next level in. Russia
Main in release 3.2.2. was the emergence of an updated web interface, which greatly simplified the work of specialists responsible for the deployment and maintenance of V2X systems. In particular, using the interface, you can configure, monitor and update all key parameters of road infrastructure devices (RSU): IP address, default route, DNS, transmitter power, frequency channel, operating modes, interaction with road controllers, as well as adding and removing users.
Previously, the implementation of these tasks required the user to have deep knowledge of the command system and the ability to work through the command line of the operating system, which led to a lot of time, and also significantly narrowed the circle of specialists who can configure and maintain V2X systems.
The TEDIX WEB interface makes it possible to display the digital double of the intersection on the map, including the topology of the lanes, available exits and phases of traffic lights, and the formation of histograms of the communication range and the "heat" map greatly simplifies the work of designers to assess the effectiveness of the locations of RSU road devices both on suburban highways and in complex urban buildings.
The release traditionally includes a number of minor updates aimed at improving the stability of RSU and OBU devices and their interaction with ITS platforms.
As of February 2024, V2X in Russia is only becoming a standard in the design of roads and transport systems, but there is already an understanding that this technology has great potential to ensure the safety of passenger, freight, private and public transportation, the development of intelligent transport systems. We understand that the future of this area in Russia largely depends on how convenient, understandable and open the solutions used will be. Therefore, as pioneers in the V2X market, we consistently make V2X closer to users and further to ordinary people. In 2023, we proposed and made open a single interaction protocol for V2X systems in Russia. The TEDIX web interface continues this logic: we make the V2X understandable, deployed to the user, "said Vladimir Makarenko, Development Director of Fort Telecom . |
