Inclusion of FDS-5456YC-R in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade

Fplus introduced Register of the Ministry of industry switchboard into the FDS-5456YC-R intended for use in data center networks () DPC of any scale. Fplus announced this on October 31, 2024. The company received four registry entries - one for each version: with AC and DC power supplies, and with two blowing directions for each type of power supply.

FDS-5456YC-R registry switches can be used in data center networks as Leaf devices for connecting servers, as well as for organizing core levels and aggregating high-performance Ethernet-based storage networks, corporate and carrier data networks.

The FDS-5456YC-R model is equipped with 48 1/10/25G ports for connecting servers and 8 40/100G ports for uplink connections. Device performance reaches 4Tb/s. Two units are responsible for power supply, which operate in the "one plus one" mode, that is, with an AC or DC connection, depending on the modification. With this, the switch can be connected to two independent power beams, which guarantees continuous operation even in the event of a failure of one of the units or the power beam.

Efficient cooling of the devices is provided by six replaceable fan units, which are available in two versions. The first is cooling by the flow of cold air from the interfaces, and the second is cooling by the power supplies. To minimize the additional cost of bringing the product into service, there is a wide range of typical control automation tools and a single command line interface with industry-standard syntax.

When developing switches, special attention is paid to the use of Russian components. So, at contract production facilities located in Russia, the production and installation of boards is carried out. Body parts are also produced on the basis of domestic enterprises and are made of Russian materials. Development and production already meet the requirements of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 878 for assigning the status of Russian equipment, and in the future it is planned to continue to increase the number of Russian-made elements used.

Data center switches are a popular product that connects servers and systems. data storage Without these devices, full-fledged work of industrial data centers enterprises cloudy providers and government control systems is impossible. Therefore, the appearance on the market of a registered domestic switch is another step towards the technological independence of the country. Our product will help ensure stable operation IT infrastructures in critical areas. Every year we plan to produce enough devices to meet the needs of customers from the corporate and public sector, telecom operators and cloud providers, "commented Artyom Fedoseev, CEO of Fplus Network Equipment.

Output of the FDS-5456YC-R model

Russian electronics manufacturer Fplus has received registration in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the FDS-5456YC-R switch intended for data centers. Four modifications of the device are included in the registry. This became known on October 31, 2024.

The new switches are intended for use as Leaf server connectivity devices, as well as for organizing core layers and aggregating high-performance Ethernet-based storage networks.

Fplus began producing switches for data centers

Artyom Fedoseev, General Director of Fplus Network Equipment, stressed the importance of the emergence of a new registered domestic switch on the market as a step towards the country's technological independence, especially to ensure stable operation of the IT infrastructure in critical areas.

The FDS-5456YC-R model is equipped with 48 1/10/25G ports for connecting servers and 8 40/100G ports for uplink connections with a common performance up to 4 Tbit/s. The device supports two power modes - AC and DC.

The switch is equipped with a one-plus-one power backup system with the ability to connect to two independent sources, which ensures uninterrupted operation in the event of a failure of one of the units.

The cooling system is represented by six replaceable fan units with two versions: cold air supply from the interface side or from the power supply side. The device supports a wide range of control automation tools.

The production of switches is localized at Russian contract sites, including the installation of boards and the manufacture of body parts from domestic materials. The development complies with the requirements of the Decree of the Government of Russia No. 878 on the status of Russian equipment[1]

Inclusion in the register of Russian industrial products

Modern network infrastructure for storing and processing information requires equipment with a bandwidth of tens of terabits. Thanks to the development of Fplus, switches with the necessary performance appeared in the registry. This meets our strategy, which is to not only constantly increase the data transfer rate to the data center, but also set industry standards, "said Artyom Fedoseev, CEO of Fplus Network Equipment.

The registry has added models of switches with different types of power supplies (from AC and DC) and with different directions of blowing. Equipment components are manufactured at several plants in Russia, including Fplus's own site in the Moscow region.

The development of Fplus reduces the dependence of companies of any industry on foreign technologies and external influences, and the inclusion of equipment in the register gives it the opportunity to participate in public procurement.

FDS Series Switch View

Russian infrastructure IT equipment manufacturer Fplus has released an FDS (Fplus Datacenter Switches) switch for organizing high-speed data networks, equipped with 32 ports 400 Gigabit Ethernet. The switching speed when loading all ports reaches 25.6 Tbit/s. Fplus announced this on January 23, 2024.

In addition to its high performance, it is distinguished by its compact size, it occupies only one unit (1U) of a telecommunications rack.

FDS switches are designed for data centers and have specialized software. They can also be used in large enterprise networks at the core level.

Several sites located on the territory are involved in the production of switches, Russia including Fplus's own plant in. Moscow area Two teams are engaged R&D in development: one is responsible for the hardware, the second for the software.

As of January 2024, work is underway to include the Fplus switch in the Unified Register of Russian Electronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
