When even more energy is necessary, the battery of the device can be replaced, having installed the reserve accumulator in the smartphone and to continue to work.

Thanks to programmable the Galaxy XCover Pro keys can perform different actions in a one click. This function allows to simplify difficult workflows, for example, scanner to activate, include or to start a small lamp CRM- application without opening the menu and without looking at the screen. According to the statement of the producer, having got rid of the physical Home key, construction of phone became lakonichny more elegantly without prejudice to durability. Galaxy XCover Pro received the accurate 6.3-inch display of permission of FHD+ with support of a touch control for any conditions, including a rain and snow. The operation mode in gloves allows to use the smartphone in "field" conditions, and function of voice input gives the chance to dictate messages and to send them.

As noted in Samsung Electronics, Galaxy XCover Pro is equipped with bonus functions of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the immersive display, the durable accumulator and protection using the platform of security Samsung Knox. For easier management of the data warehouse, immediate payment processing and convenient communication the device is complemented with mobile solutions from partners of Samsung. In partnership with Microsoft the company provided the function of the portable radio set integrated into Microsoft Teams service – a partner solution with the option "push-to-talk".

On the provided structure of Samsung workers can carry out production tasks using software and hardware solutions from Infinite Peripherals, KOAMTAC, Scandit and Visa companies. Tracking of goods and payment processing using scanning of barcodes is available to retail sellers.

Galaxy XCover Pro also supports Samsung POS, the mobile solution for retail (POS) approved by the pilot Visa Tap to Phone program. This technology helps sellers to stay in the know of what payment methods are preferred by users and also saves them from need to use the POS equipment, replacing it with the simple and reliable solution. The complex Tap to Phone terminal has the same potential that provides it the EMV chip, at the same time ensuring complete safety and protection of financial data. Clients can quickly make payments, having just brought the proximity card, phone or the wearable device to Galaxy XCover Pro, emphasized in Samsung Electronics.

In addition to high strength, Galaxy XCover Pro also protects data of the user thanks to the multilevel Samsung Knox platform. The device received the fingerprint scanner and recognition of the person of the user that provides quick access to information without touches during the work "in the field". Thanks to Samsung Knox of the enterprise, according to the producer, can quickly both easily configure the device and manage versions of a firmware, providing to IT administrators control over the park of devices with the Knox Configure and Knox E-FOTA tools. In some markets the Galaxy XCover Pro smartphone will be available in the version of the Enterprise Edition.
