Globus Fraud Management System (Globus FMS)

Globus-Telecom (subsidiary company of Rostelecom) brought a control system of splashes in voice traffic of Globus Fraud Management System (Globus FMS) into continuous operation.

The Globus FMS system is intended for protection of clients against telephone fraud. With its help the operator had an opportunity to fix online cases of the admission of unauthorized traffic under the guise of client and to warn about it the subscribers.

Within four months the new software product worked in the mode of trial operation. During this time IT specialists of the company created a number of criteria by which search of abnormal splashes in telephone traffic is conducted now for the analytical module Globus FMS. Several such cases were succeeded to record the companies, to timely warn about it clients and to suspend unauthorized traffic. According to the estimates of specialists of "Globus-Telekoma" the damage to subscribers could be more than 1 million rubles.
