Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is instant messaging and video conferencing software developed by Google. The service replaced three systems at once: Google Talk, Google + Chats and the Google + video chat service Video meetings.

Features: Google launched the Hangouts service first for ordinary users, but over time it has a corporate older brother Hangouts Meet. In addition, the service has additional corporate capabilities. For example, users of the G Suit Enterprise tariff plan can connect to calls without, Internet through a special number. Hangouts Meet also integrates with Skype for Business and SIP or H.323 video conferencing systems (Polycom and) Cisco using the Pexip Infinity platform.

2022: Service closure

On November 1, 2022, Google closed the Hangouts messenger. Prior to that, the ability to install or update a mobile application has disappeared from the App Store and Google Play.

2011: Google Talk Guru

Google launched in March 2011 a service called Google Talk Guru, a chatbot that allows users to make searches and get search results through the Google Talk instant messaging service.
