Google Hangouts is instant messaging and video conferencing software developed by Google. The service replaced three systems at once: Google Talk, Google + Chats and the Google + video chat service Video meetings.
Features: Google launched the Hangouts service first for ordinary users, but over time it has a corporate older brother Hangouts Meet. As with Microsoft Teams, there is no need to pay individual money for it, everything is included in the G Suit business plan. Those, in turn, start at $6 per month. Depending on the tariff plan, up to 100 or up to 250 participants can join the video call.
In addition, the service has additional corporate capabilities. For example, users of the G Suit Enterprise tariff plan can connect to calls without, Internet through a special number. Hangouts Meet also integrates with Skype for Business and SIP or H.323 video conferencing systems (Polycom and) Cisco using the Pexip Infinity platform.

2022: Service closure
