HID Mobile Access is technology of opening of doors which integrates security and comfort, turning smartphones also other mobile devices into reliable and easy to use access facilities which replace with themselves keys and smart cards. Smartphones iPhone, Android and other mobile devices are supported. The Twist and Go technology allows to open doors and gate at distance. The solution provides management of access facilities, the increased convenience to users and a basis for future mobile applications.

2019: Connection to VMware Workspace ONE

On December 23, 2019 HID Global announced cooperation with VMware company. Cooperation is directed to support of implementation of mobile access to digital and physical places, thanks to connection of HID Mobile Access to VMware Workspace One, the analytical platform of the digital work area providing convenient and safe providing and administration of any applications on any device.

Users of Workspace ONE will be able safely to open doors using smartphones within unified mobile environment which also provides access to applications, computers, networks, data and cloud services.

Workspace ONE is the company in the field of centralized operation by end devices (UEM) therefore cooperation with HID will promote increase in interest from the corporate customers interested in consolidation of physical and digital experience of employees with technologies.

The mobile credentials HID are brought to Workspace ONE through a cloud platform of access control of HID Origo. The platform provides tool kit and services for integration, supports and developments which simplify how partners of HID, an ecosystem of developers and intermediaries provide control of solutions of mobile access. The platform also simplifies management of mobile identifiers on wireless communication when employees lose or are forced to change the smartphones and other mobile devices.

VMware completed an experiment on integration of the platform at objects of VMware using the readers HID iCLASS SE Bluetooth-enabled and identifiers of mobile devices recently. API HID Mobile Access and a set of development tools of the software (SDK) provided to VMware direct hardware access of access control of HID, accelerating integration and accomplishment of pilot programs. Technology partnership confirmed advantages of convergent physical and logical access control on mobile devices, integrating smooth, convenient and the intuitive interface with the increased safety and efficiency of administration. Users got access to buildings, premises and other spaces through connection of the mobile devices to the reader device and also opened doors at distance using technology of gestures "Twist and go" or just running a finger to unblock the phones in process of approach.

Workspace ONE integrates access control, management of applications and multilatformenny control of end devices based on a single platform. Workspace ONE is available as a cloud service and also to deployment on the local server. IDC called the platform the leader of management of mobility of the enterprise in 2018, and Gartner placed in the leader sector for Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) management tools.

2018: Certification on ISO 27001

On May 16, 2018 the HID Global company announced that the solution HID Mobile Access is certified according to the international standard of security of ISO 27001 which is an information security management system, the defining practice of security and setting means for risk management and data protection.

Using HID Mobile Access users can get secure access to doors, gate, corporate resources, using the smartphone, the tablet, wearable or other mobile device. This solution is important for the organizations aiming to integrate access control into technologies and services of the smart house for ensuring more convenient and intuitive use, consider in HID Global.

Certification on ISO 27001 is executed by a number of independent third-party auditors. Receiving this certification confirms that HID saves confidentiality, integrity and data availability of clients according to the international, advanced security methods in the industry. ISO 27001 is supported by the code of practical rules for information security management of ISO/IEC 27002: 2013.

2015: HID Mobile Access is integrated into KNOX

On May 14, 2015 the HID Global company announced the partnership agreement with Samsung company. The purposes of partners - providing the organizations with a possibility of secure access to premises by means of the mobile platform KNOX 2.4 which should be integrated into the smartphone of Samsung company.

The enterprises will be able to deploy the solution HID Mobile Access using the mobile platform Android.

Use of the smartphone with HID Mobile Access technology, 2013

The solution is created on the basis of Seos technology and provides the high level of security, confidentiality, helps to solve the problems connected with the strategy of management of mobility in the companies where it is required to protect the employees, buildings and valuable assets.

Users can load the HID Mobile Access application on the mobile devices Samsung and get access to premises using technologies NFC or Bluetooth Smart, using readers iCLASS SE from HID Global. Administrators of the companies can issue and withdraw mobile identifiers via the HID Secure Identity Services portal.

2014: Release of HID Mobile Access

The HID Global company announced in the fall of 2014 release of the solution HID Mobile Access for more reliable and convenient opening of doors and gate in combination with simple process of management of access facilities. In view of more and more wide dissemination of the concept of use of own mobile devices of employees (BYOD, Bring Your Own Device) this solution includes all necessary components thanks to which in the organizations it is possible to use immediately smartphones and other mobile devices Bluetooth-enabled of Smart and NFC instead of normal keys and smart cards. The solution also allows to open doors and gate at distance by means of the patented Twist and Go technology.

The HID Mobile Access system works with the readers iCLASS S and/or multiCLASS. It includes mobile identifiers, the HID Mobile Access application and access to the HID Secure Identity Service portal for management of users, release and a withdrawal of mobile identifiers. Readers with support of mobile devices are also compatible to HID Prox technology 125 kHz and high-frequency technologies iCLASS Seo, iCLASS SE, standard iCLA, MIFA and MIFA DESFi EV1 that allows to use at the same time smart cards and mobile devices in one system.

The HID Global company developed also the solution for implementation and management of access facilities on the basis of the convenient HID Secure Identity Service portal. Administrators just send to users the invitation with a request to load the HID Mobile Access application on the mobile phones Bluetooth-enabled or NFC. After loading and application registration it is possible to generate, issue or withdraw immediately mobile identifiers by air. The portal intended for increase in convenience and efficiency of administrators allows to manage certain users or user groups for the purpose of faster issue of access facilities. After release of the mobile identifier the user can open doors or gate by present of the mobile device to the reader or to use Bluetooth connection and Twist and Go technology from HID Global that by simple turn of the mobile device to activate the reader at approach to a door or gate.

The complete solution HID Mobile Access is developed on the basis of Seos technology which turns smartphones and other mobile devices into well-tried remedies of access. The Seos technology also provides preserving of confidentiality due to use of enciphering at issue and a withdrawal of mobile identifiers within unique transaction which guarantees protection of personal identification data against foreign intervention. Thanks to Seos technology the solution HID Mobile Access can be used further for implementation of different functions of a single system of safe identification using smartphones and other mobile devices: access to the PC, time recording, reading of biometric data, charging of electric vehicles and so forth.
