2014: HP CloudSystem Matrix

On April 29, 2014 the Hewlett-Packard company announced release of the improved version of the solution for creation of private "clouds" of bigger scale - HP CloudSystem Matrix.

Using the improved versions of HP of CloudSystem Matrix and HP-UX customers increase efficiency of systems and improve a status of observance of agreements on the service level (SLA).

Advantages of the solution

  • Private cloud deployments of the bigger size provide performance improvement and flexibility due to providing the workloads executing vPars (v6) or by means of direct network connection of a subsystem of input-output.
  • Lower initial cost of private cloud deployments of HP-UX thanks to existence of two new packets of licenses for sockets.
  • Higher computing power of DPC thanks to a possibility of identification and an exception of inefficient server processes and also providing access to resources for key workloads.
