Core of solutions is the software product of HP Cloud Service Automation (CSA) providing the flexible convergent top level of automation of "cloud" tasks: a self-service portal, means of visual designing of an autoring of services, interaction with different environments of automation: external providers, environments of virtualization and automation, automation systems of level of DPC, etc.
CSA allows to create the unified protected "cloud" environment with necessary extent of isolation of resources and a management system for the access levels integrating technologies of private, public and hybrid "clouds" using, in particular, the existing infrastructure of DPC. Implementation of CSA allows customers to reduce terms of providing new services from months to minutes, to raise extent of utilization of servers to 80%, to reduce TCO by 30%.
HP of Cloud Service Automation v3.2 and new integration
The HP company announced on June 10, 2013 release of HP of Cloud Service Automation of version 3.2 and the tenth version of a packet of software products: HP Operations Orchestration, HP Server Automation and HP Database and Middleware Automation. All of them, together with upgraded version of HP of Cloud Service Automation 3.2, are offered in the form of the single integrated batch now.
Properties and advantages
Purpose of integration of programs in simplification of procedures of deployment of different services in a hybrid cloud environment, placement of databases on the website of services, means of backup of databases and full-function applications.
HP Server Automation helps to automate the procedure of updating of thousands of servers. The new version allows to update the virtual servers which are in sleep mode. The previous version could update only those virtual machines which at the time of updating were in an active status. And it generated certain difficulties as idle virtual servers did not receive necessary updates and ceased to meet requirements imposed to them. The new version awakens the sleeping virtual machine and updates it then the virtual machine is switched off again.
The new version of Server Automation is presented also in the hardware and software system form under the name of HP Server Automation Standard. In complete option it includes a basic configuration, functions of deployment and check on compliance to qualifying standards.
HP Operations Orchestration is the mechanism of automation of procedures allowing to integrate separate applications and to establish connection between them. It is the first version providing integration of procedures which are distributed between several service providers of a hosting. Today it can interact with cloud environments OpenStack and Amazon S3. The amendments considering management of new cloud resources are introduced in the user interface. Consolidation of the separate technology processes implemented in SAP applications and also in own packets is possible HP ArcSight and Fortify.
HP Database and Middleware Automation automates management of databases and many binding programs which address databases Oracle Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 and also application servers IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic. The software of version 10 is well joined also to other packets within CloudSystem Enterprise Starter Suite.
