2019: Submission of the concept

On November 25, 2019 HP Inc company. submitted the concept for computing problems of the next generation of HP ZCentral, having announced the remote workstation. ZCentral creates flexible opportunities for remote mobile work and allows to centralize high computing power in a uniform location, exempting the users working with power-intensive graphic applications from a binding to a specific workplace. The solution ZCentral integrates in itself high-performance workstations Z from HP, the software of ZCentral Remote Boost earlier known as Remote Graphics Software (RGS) and also the software of ZCentral Connect allowing to lift the speed of accomplishment of computation processes to higher level.

According to the developer, the software of ZCentral provides IT- to divisions the predicted remote performance which is available irrespective of the used peripheral devices and also a possibility of simple management with preserving of the high level security data. The solution ZCentral is capable to minimize the problems and costs connected with management of different platforms and devices at the same time providing safe remote access for users. Performance gain when using ZCentral makes 16-33%, at the same time, the cost of such solution is 59-72% of the cost of modern virtual workstations, claim in HP. Thanks to ZCentral IT specialists can manage, trace and distribute the selected remote capacity of workstations in the protected private network via the single console.

HP she intends to present full complete solutions of ZCentral to the partners from the different industries, including from the sphere of construction work, a design and construction, area of the analysis and data processing, the industry of media and entertainments, the oil and gas industry.

The software of ZCentral Remote Boost supports work with devices based on Windows, Linux or MacOS, differs in high flexibility and allows users to work practically from any peripheral device and from any point.

Using the software of ZCentral Connect of IT department of the companies can integrate several workstations, monitor network connections and use of accounts via the single simple interface. For experienced users of ZCentral Connect simplifies process of connection to the selected centralized computing resources and allows to get access to other workstation from the selected centralized pool. Price and availability of ZCentral:

• As of November, 2019 workstations Z from HP in a server rack are already available to installation on sale.
• The software of HP of ZCentral Remote Boost will go on sale at the beginning of 2020, the prices will be announced later, the beta is already available to customers.
• The software of HP of ZCentral Connect will go on sale at the beginning of 2020, the prices will be announced later, the beta of the software is already available to customers.
• The software of HP RGS is already available to users.
