On November 25, 2019 HP Inc company. submitted the concept for computing problems of the next generation of HP ZCentral, having announced the remote workstation. ZCentral creates flexible opportunities for remote mobile work and allows to centralize high computing power in a uniform location, exempting the users working with power-intensive graphic applications from a binding to a specific workplace. The solution ZCentral integrates in itself high-performance workstations Z from HP, the software of ZCentral Remote Boost earlier known as Remote Graphics Software (RGS) and also the software of ZCentral Connect allowing to lift the speed of accomplishment of computation processes to higher level. HP Z6 G4

On August 5, 2019 it became known that HP Inc company. produced the updated model of a series of Z6 workstations – HP Z6 G4 based on Intel Xeon processor W of the last generation numbering up to 16 computing cores. The advanced HP Z6 G4 workstation is ideal for implementation of creative tasks in such areas as: 3D - animation, modeling, and virtual design, – and also any processes work with which requires bigger number of computing cores, but at the same time the user has no need for a dual-processor system.

Thanks to capability of processors of a series of Xeon of W-3000 to support up to 384GB of memory, HP Z6 G4 stations guarantee to users fast and convenient work in resource-intensive graphic applications with high workload and bigger amount of memory, in comparison with Z4 series. Professionals in the field of multimedia can use technologies of the last generation and work with resolution capability higher than 8K, without worrying about system restrictions.

2018

HP Z2 Mini G4, Z2 Small Form Factor G4, Z2 Tower G4

On July 23, 2018 HP Inc company. provided powerful workstations of initial level for designers, architects, representatives of creative professions, OEM manufacturing, teachers, financial specialists and office workers. Family Z, according to the developer, allows to increase efficiency of workflows and optimizes energy consumption without prejudice to power, a possibility of upgrade, convenience of using and security.

According to information provided by the developer, the Z2 Small Form Factor HP workstation (SFF) G4 has for 50% the big computing power, than the previous generation, at the same compact sizes. This model has four slots of PCIe and two slots of a storage system of M.2. It is expected that the provided models will go on sale in Russia since August 6, 2018.

HP Z4

On February 9, 2018 the HP company announced that HP Z4 workstations become even more powerful thanks to Intel Xeon processors or Core X and support of two high-performance video cards.

The HP Z4 workstation is suitable for design, modeling, rendering and virtual reality, providing high performance for accomplishment of a set of tasks where the computing power and two productive video cards are necessary.

In addition to the Intel Xeon processors W, Z4 it can be equipped with the Intel processors Core X including up to 18 cores, and two GPU for exacting graphics. This workstation is intended for product development on the basis of modeling (simulation-based design) and creation of VR content that guarantees high efficiency at accomplishment of these tasks.

2017

Z8 G4, Z6 G4 и Z4 G4

On September 21, 2017 HP Inc. provided HP Z8 G4, HP Z6 G4 and HP Z4 G4 workstations. According to the company, they are completely ready to application in such resource-intensive areas as virtual reality, machine learning and difficult design.

HP Z workstations are provided in the body a tower. They are equipped with two ports 1 GbE in a basic equipment, a payment of Thunderbolt 3 (optionally), G2 Type C USB 3.1 ports (optionally).

HP Z8 G4 workstation, (2017)

It is supported OS Microsoft Windows 7 for succession of some workflows. Models of Z8 and Z6 stations to be configured with two ports 10 GbE (instead of 1GbE) without use of the expansion slot PCIe.

HP Z8 G4 provides the maximum power of calculations at design of any products, from racing cars to rockets. HP Z8 is capable to carry out the most difficult tasks of modeling and to process considerable amounts of data.

Users can create 3D models and edit video 8K in real time. It is possible by means of support to 56 main cores and up to 3 TB base memories. The workstation is certified for work with the professional software.

In this workstation construction with an air duct which directs to the second processor a fresh air flow instead of recirculation of warm air from an air duct on the first processor is used.

The architecture of the separated chassis helps to get direct access to the 1700 W power source with an arresting gear, to 24 modules DIMM and 9 slots of PCIe (7 full-size slots of PCIe with complete height and 2 internal "individual" slots of PCIe under installation of expansion cards Z Turbo Drive) to integrate the machine into specialized workflows.

The HP Z6 G4 workstation supports professional graphic maps, has 384 GB of a system memory and two slots of M.2 for SSD drives of HP Z Turbo Drive in PCIe expansion card form factor.

HP Z6 is organized in the form of the modular construction allowing installation of the second processor and device with connectors for memory expansion cards (rayzer).

HP Z4 G4 — generation of HP workstations with the upgraded construction. The design of the HP Z4 workstation is improved taking into account requirements of office environment. The construct of the station is complemented with ergonomic lobbies and back handles, the compact chassis for conditions of limited space and the optional dust filter for an industrial environment.

The HP Z4 workstation is focused on OEM customers. The input-output system has high capacity, two network ports 1GbE and two slots of M.2 for the standard SSD drive of HP Z Turbo Drive PCIe.

Workstations will become available in Russia in November, 2017.

HP Z VR Backpack

On August 1, 2017 the Inc. HP company, announced as it claims, the first-ever wearable workstation. The device placed in a backpack under the name of HP Z VR Backpack is intended for accomplishment of working tasks.

A system uses quad-core processor Intel Core i7-7820HQ vPro with clock rate to 3.9 GHz, the professional graphic NVIDIA Quadro P5200 accelerator from 16 Gbytes of video memory, up to 32 Gbytes of RAM DDR4-2400 and the drive with a capacity from 256 Gbyte to 1 Tbyte.

Modules of wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2, the gigabit network controller, USB interfaces 3.0, HDMI 2.0, Mini DisplayPort 1.3 and Thunderbolt (USB Type-C) were also introduced into innovation hardware. There are two rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 74 of Vtch everyone with a possibility of "hot" replacement.

The computer can find application in amusement parks, real estate agencies, on manufacturing enterprises and in other areas where virtual reality (VR) will be useful. The device supports connection of such VR helmets as HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, etc.

HP Z VR Backpack is intended for working tasks

HP Z VR Backpack can be carried on shoulders in a backpack (the truth, battery life is limited for 1-1.5 hours, and the weight of a product is considerable 4.6 kg) or to use as the desktop computer by means of a special docking station which will go in a set.

The beginning of sales of HP of Z VR Backpack is planned for the end of September, 2017. The cost of a product will be from $3300.

On February 21, 2017 HP Inc company. provided the Z2 Mini HP workstation. It is comparable on power to workstations of a traditional format.
