Hitachi Visualization Suite is a complex of solutions for data visualization.
Hitachi Visualization Suite (HVS) is the hybrid cloud platform in real time integrating the separate information and video resources received from the systems of ensuring public security (services of computerized supervisory control 911, readers of license plate numbers of cars, sensors of registration of shots, etc.), and provides their geospatial representation.
HVS provides to bodies of protection of law and order of knowledge, the possibilities of investigation of crimes, to increase operational efficiency improving quality of operational information, helping to expand. In addition to data recording about the events arriving in real time from sensors, HVS provides a possibility of creation of several types of geospatial visual representations of information on crimes for previous periods, including - in the form of thermal cards.

2015: Hitachi Visualization Suite 4.5
On October 1, 2015 the Hitachi Data Systems company announced release of the Hitachi Visualization Suite software package of version 4.5.
The predictive analytics of offenses and expanded support of the Hitachi Video Management Platform platform for assistance to programs of public security of law enforcement agencies and services of quick response is added to functionality of this version using the connected module Hitachi Visualization Predictive Crime Analytics (PCA).

The packet of Hitachi Visualization Suite 4.5 is complemented with the solutions Hitachi Visualization Predictive Crime Analytics (PCA) and Hitachi Video Management Platform (VMP) 2.0. PCA – the tool first in own way for use of the data streams arriving in real time from social media and the Internet in combination with the unique mechanism of the complex analysis which provides valuable knowledge and promotes increase in public security thanks to forecasting of offenses with a high accuracy. The packet of Hitachi Visualization is among solutions of Hitachi for the social innovations intended for support of programs of creation of smart cities. It is developed especially for implementation of initiatives in the field of public security within which city and municipal authorities apply means of expanded and predictive analytics and advanced access to video data.
Program and hardware components of the Hitachi Visualization system are developed especially for the help to the state and private organizations - to accelerate receiving from all available data sources of the relevant knowledge having great practical value. These solutions - a part of the complex of solutions of Hitachi for social innovations focused on creation of safer, healthy and effective intellectual communities and providing to the customers good results of business activity.
Integrating the data on events in real time received from sensors and from the systems of public security with contextual data on crimes for the last periods from management systems for records, social media and other sources, effective algorithms of space and temporary forecasting of PCA allow law enforcement bodies and services of quick response to appoint to each city quarter the level of threat. These algorithms can be also applied to determination of future levels of threats for the purpose of exact forecasting of probable places of commission of crimes or need of selection of additional resources. The uniqueness of the PCA system is that she allows to receive deeper understanding of the basic risk factors influencing increase or decrease in crime rate. It is the first instrument of predictive protection of law and order using mechanisms of natural languag processing to topic modeling in real time using social networks in combination with other public and private data sources, allowing to receive high-precision forecasts of offenses.
