The N8000 Asterisk Edition IP PBX - the automatic telephone exchange (ATE) on the basis of the internetwork IP protocol.

On August 14, 2018 the D-Link company announced the beginning of deliveries of the N8000 Asterisk Edition IP PBX.

According to the company, the solution is recommended for application at offices, hotel complexes, medical institutions, call centers and other companies with the need for processing of a large number of telephone calls.

The solution is hardwired based on the terminal client N8000 with dual core processor Intel Atom of 1.33 GHz, 8 GB of RAM of DDR3L and 8 GB of memory of eMMC. In quality software the open platform for creation of telephone systems Asterisk 15 with FreePBX 13 under control of Ubuntu 4:04 p.m. is used.

As it was reported, the N8000 Asterisk Edition IP PBX supports:

• up to 500 subscribers and up to 200 simultaneous calls,
• transfer, parking, readdressing and call intercept,
• the interactive voice menu for incoming calls (IVR),
• setting in queue up to 50 calls and their distribution by operators,
• answering machine, voice mail, sending messages for e-mail,
• conference communication with participation to 50 users,
• record of telephone conversations on the external drive,
• to 200K of log entries of calls without connection of an add-in memory (CDR),
• consolidation of remote offices in a single telephone network,
• connection of remote workers with providing the extension,
• integration with external systems and software (CRM, the website and so forth).

Technical support and service maintenance of the solution are provided with the Russian representative office of D-Link.
