2022: M2-based iPad Pro

Apple introduced the iPad Pro tablet based on the M2 processor. This became known on October 20, 2022.

The younger generation of devices will be available in two versions - 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The tablets are based on the M2 processor, which is equipped with the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro released in the summer - it is believed that the iPad Pro will have the same performance.

The gadgets support data Wi-Fi the 6E wireless transmission standard and have up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. On the back of the tablet there is a dual camera with lenses with a resolution of 12 and 10 megapixels, in front - a 12 megapixel camera.

In addition to the iPad Pro, Apple has announced the base iPad series tablet. The device has a 10.9-inch display with a resolution of 2360x1640 pixels, 500 nits brightness and support for True Tone. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is located at the top of the tablet. The gadget received an A14 Bionic processor, support for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G, a USB-C port. On the back of the device is a 12-megapixel camera.

The Wi-Fi iPad Pro starts at $799, while the 5G model starts at $999. The base Wi-Fi iPad is priced at $449, with cellular support - $599^[1].
