2014: FlyView 2.2

On June 8, 2014 the iPera company announced a release of the new version of the solution FlyView 2.2.

Features of version 2.2.:

• the simplified protocols of a configuration of network:

• it is necessary to configure and forward only one port instead of three as it was earlier, for each media server. Enterprise Controller'a, Media Proxy and Media Server'a ports were replaced with one port for connection (by default 7001). Moreover, there is no need for connection of Enterprise Controller to each Media Server. Now for gaining access to video Media Server it is only necessary to be connected to Enterprise Controller unilaterally.

• PTZ tours:

• The PTZ functionality of the software was expanded due to use of the advanced tours and also gives the chance to set the house mode by default at which the camera returns to home position after any movement.

• Light interface:

• the user has a possibility of the choice between light and dark design of the interface of the program.

• New events and actions:

• a continuous signal at events "the movement on the camera" and "an input signal on the camera",
• the adequate notice "The Disk Is Filled" if the user selects space, not available to storage,
• a new diagnostic event "Media server is started".

• After installation of the camera the program will perform setup of its following parameters:

• the best image quality for the main video flow (with the best permission and FPS) and optimal quality for the second flow.

In certain cases can be required to set special streaming parameters from the camera. For these purposes the "Include Automatic Optimization of Settings of Cameras" switch was added to an installer and system settings. By default included, it can be switched-off in installation process of a system or further from the client application.

• The simplified recovery of archive (data loss because of migration or a partial failure of HDD):

• the new button of recovery in the Server options dialog box is added,
• the archive can be recovered without record interruption.

• The improved compatibility mode:

• capability load any previous versions of the client. If versions of the client and the server differ, the correct version of the client will be loaded automatically (it is unavailable to MacOS).

• Automatic detection of an aspect ratio:

• an aspect ratio of elements of the layout by default - 16:9,
• if only one element is added, the aspect ratio is exposed on it,
• if several elements are added, then the aspect ratio is exposed on the majority of elements.

• An opportunity to record an aspect ratio for any element:

• the new tab to "Settings of cameras"> Expert is added.

• The general HTTP a plug-in for a simple streaming video.
• Export of video is performed in the background now.
• The feature for the choice of any corner for placement of a time stamp is added:

• for screenshots: press the Screenshot button and select from the appeared window "Save the picture as".
• the new drop-down list "Time mark" is located in the bottom of a window and offers the following options: Without time marks, the Upper left corner, the Upper right corner, the Lower left corner and the Lower right corner.
• export of the selected fragment: the similar list in the lower part of the Export of Video window.

Note: the Time mark drop-down list is unavailable when exporting to the .exe format.

• Function of inclusion/shutdown of automatic detection of cameras in "System parameters"-> Server is added.
• An opportunity to change the size of a tree of devices.
• Development of the image from cameras with the lens "fish eye" is performed at the expense of capacities of GPU on client side now.
• Automatic and manual calibration of the lens "fish eye" in settings of the camera is added.
• Development of the image from cameras with the lens "fish eye" is available also to photos now.

Improvements

• The quantity of combinations the login/password for improvement of automatic detection of the camera is increased.
• The flag "Is added it is the camera with the lens "fish eye", PTZ providing auto disconnect.
• The field Producer in "Settings of cameras" and "The list of cameras" is added.
• Automatic and manual calibration of the lens "fish eye" in settings of the camera is added.
• The new database for backup of installation in a case of unsuccessful transfer of the database is created.
• Dialog of manual adding of cameras is improved. The list of cameras appears automatically as soon as they are detected.
• The system of notifications on activation of the license is improved.
• Monitoring of a system is improved:

• server operating time is added,
• display only 10 characters of the name of connection to network,
• the notification "There Is No Signal" is replaced on "The server is disconnected".

• "Events and actions"> "List of cameras":

• all cameras which do not support a disturbing input and output are highlighted in red color,
• tooltip balloons with the description of an error are added.

• Audio-support for some models ACTi E-, D-, T - K-, B-, an I-series is added.
• The maximum number of frames per second up to 30 fps for HTTP and RTSP of plug-ins is increased.
• The combination "by Alt + a mouse wheel" for scaling inclusion/switching off by the scroll wheel is added.
• The incompatible Enterprise controller found automatically are highlighted in dialog of connection with indication of the version.
• Dialog boxes with notifications became more informative at the expense of the following messages:

• "Wrong user or password",
• in all other cases the general message will be displayed.

• The improved notifications on expiration of the license:

• The License Expired dialog box is displayed only for the administrator,
• the message about expiration of the license is displayed in the following order once a day now: 15, 10, 5, 3, 2, 1 day before the termination of validity period. The message will appear last time after final expiration.

• Time of accumulation of events by default with "Immediately" on "time in 30 seconds" is changed. Data are automatically grouped in categories, making perception of a panel of notifications easier.
• The last minute of archive is visually mentioned on a time line.
• The new parameter "Suspension of Video" for further optimization of efficiency of bandwidth is entered:

• the new checkbox "Automatic Pause" is added (see Settings of a system => the General). In case of the mentioned checkbox there is an automatic suspension of video playback on condition of failure to act of the user that allows to avoid unnecessary consumption of bandwidth. The interval of failure to act is defined by the user in the range from 1 up to 60 minutes.

• Android. The sound for RTSP is added (only for the AAC codec).
• Installer "Only the client". The "Start the Client upon completion of Installation" parameter on the last page is added.
• The screenshot always remains in the maximum quality regardless of the set permission of the video flow displayed on the display.
• The new button for opening of the Magazine of the Client folder is added.
• New action "Is added bring closer the selected fragment" in a context menu of a time scale. The selected fragment is developed on scale width when clicking. If the fragment is not selected, this action in the menu is not displayed.
• The feature for viewing magazines of clients and cache flush is added.
• Client graphics and animation are optimized.

2015: iPera FlyView VMS version 2.4.0

Among the functions added to this version it is possible to note:

Besides, a number of improvements is added:

• reduction of loading of the CPU on Edge-systems
• statistics of use and reports on failures is improved

• the simplified adding of NAS devices on Linux (by analogy with Windows)

Being the high-performance software, FlyView VMS supports large-scale integration into devices of different producers. In the new version support of the following models is added:
