2018: Joint solution Philips Lighting and IT

The Philips Lighting company announced on April 4, 2018 cooperation with the IT Energofinance group (enters into the IT group), the advanced developer of automation systems, for the purpose of creation of the complex integrated management system for lighting based on the Unilight platform. The solution is created especially for the Russian market and gives the chance to the city authorities to manage lighting, to receive and transfer up-to-date data, improving the urban environment and ensuring safety.

The Unilight platform allows to use lamps of Philips with function of wireless management as elements of city network of Internet of Things. It allows not only to collect and analyze information, but also to send analytical reports about a city status to administrative services. For example, the special sensors installed on lighting support are capable to determine the noise level, air pollutions and traffic congestion. It gives the chance to the city authorities to make operational decisions: a system can at the expense of means of video analytics define transport incident, and thanks to data on weather and a status of a roadbed will allow to manage work of road services.

Also lighting only allows to use the solution when it is necessary, and in that volume in which it is necessary. It is possible to dimmirovat (to reduce brightness) lighting at decrease in traffic flow or to use the brightest lighting in "rush hour". Such approach helps to reduce energy consumption. At the same time the Unilight platform gives the chance to watch a status of lamps and precisely determines operation parameters of each of them, including geopositioning with the help GPS and GLONASS, emphasized in Philips Lighting.

The Unilight platform works with road Philips RoadFlair lamps which the company makes in the territory of Russia. Thanks to local production of solutions and management systems for Philips Lighting light it was succeeded to reduce time of their delivery, having saved at the same time high quality of products, emphasized in the company.
