Optimizing the Form Designer
ITFB Group May 28, 2025 announced the release of an update to the form designer on the SYMPHONY platform. This version enhances the ability to customize the logic and interface of document forms and significantly increases the flexibility of working with documents.
SYMPHONY is a platform for intelligent management of content, claims and digitalization of business processes, belonging to the classes of ECM (Enterprise Content Management), CSP (Content Services Platform) and BPM (Business Process Management) systems. Built on a microservice architecture, SYMPHONY is able to withstand a large load and, if necessary, easily scales horizontally as it grows. The key tools of the platform are designers that allow you to configure it without programming.
Improving and increasing the capabilities of form designer makes working with documents more flexible and intuitive. Users can now:
- Create and reposition items using drag & drop
- Combine data into tabs, blocks, and tables to structure information and quickly find the data you want.
- Configure dependencies between attributes and their values
- Create hidden document tags that are calculated based on associated attributes.
- Control access to editing and processing a document based on its status and user role
- validate incoming data: filter reference books, define input masks, configure restrictions;
- Configure forms for different actions (buttons) during the process
- write code for complex dependencies directly in the platform interface.
We closely monitor how SYMPHONY is used by our customers and regularly make improvements taking into account user experience and best practices. The updated form designer allows our customers to make even more subtle settings not only for the logic of business cases, but also to easily customize the visual representation of the future form of the document, "said Anastasia Litvinenko, Business Development Director of ITFB Group, author and ideologist of the SYMPHONY platform. |
The platform with the updated designer is already available for purchase. The ITFB Group is confident that the innovations will improve the efficiency of document management and improve the everyday experience of users when interacting with a configured system.
