Real-time data collection

According to information for October 2022, the key feature of ITMan Discovery is the collection of data from end devices in real time and the improvement of CMDB due to artificial intelligence. When integrating with Service Desk platforms, you can refine the current configuration of the IT asset in real time.

According to the developers, ITMan Discovery collects data in less than 10 seconds from 100,000 devices without overloading data channels and the control server. This is possible thanks to the zero platform architecture, which is built on only two components: the agent and the server. Which provides high data collection speed and savings on hardware. With ITMan Discovery, IT will always have up-to-date asset status information.

Three products are built on the basis of the platform: Asset Inventory Manager for IT asset management, Configuration Manager for configuration management, Protection Manager for information security.

Industry solutions are also presented on the platform. The first is for automation of ITSM processes, where ITMan Discovery is a provider of normalized data for CMDB when integrating with Service Desk platforms. The second is to automate the control of remote workplaces of call center employees.

Inclusion in the Register of Russian Programs

iTMan Discovery is officially included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Computers and Databases. The system is now available to government customers, and all customers will be able to purchase the solution at a lower price. This was reported on January 17, 2022 by Softline.

  • Extracting CU data (configuration units) from various sources and creating links between objects;

  • Normalization of incoming data based on rules, patterns and trained models of neural networks;
