Integration with AWS Outposts. AWS Outposts Ready Status
On December 14, 2020, Infinidat, a provider of large-scale data storage solutions, announced it will become AWS Outposts Ready as part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. This means that Infinidat has demonstrated successful integration with AWS Outposts. AWS Outposts is a fully managed service that allows you to stretch AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs and other tools to almost any data center of both the service provider and the client and organize coordinated activities in a multi-cloud environment.
According to the company, a feature of Infinidat, as an AWS partner and AWS Outposts Ready status, is the presence of a product fully tested with AWS Outposts. AWS Outposts Ready products are available to AWS clients, contain detailed deployment documentation, and are supported by AWS Outposts. AWS Service Ready partners create products that are integrated with AWS services, helping AWS customers evaluate and use technologies at any scale and at different levels of complexity.
We are proud to receive the AWS Outposts Ready Partner Certificate and offer our users an integrated storage solution. AWS enables companies to integrate with Infinidat storage. While AWS transports cloud operating models to user data centers, Infinidat complements AWS Outposts with the elastic price models that cloud users require. told Joshua Burgin, general manager of AWS Outposts at Amazon Web Services |
AWS has launched the AWS Outposts Ready Program to support seamless integration and deployment of AWS Outposts. It helps users find products integrated with AWS Outposts, spend less time evaluating tools, and more on scaling products integrated with AWS Outposts.

NVMe over Fabrics Technology-Enabled Offerings
On June 1, 2020, Infinidat announced offerings that reduce storage infrastructure costs, reduce the risk of failures and lack of technology at the right level, and add support for NVMe over Fabrics technology.
According to the company, customers are offered the following:
- Free data migration for customers - Companies that want to upgrade, optimize, or consolidate their storage infrastructure will no longer be constrained by migration costs, possible risks, or lack of skills.
- 100% data availability guarantee: With the expansion of 100% data availability guarantee to individual systems, Infinidat confirms to existing and potential customers that they will not encounter downtime caused by Infinidat equipment. If the customer encounters downtime, Infinidat will take appropriate measures depending on the existing business model and analyze the reasons.
- Flexible pricing: Flexible pricing offers the ability to purchase basic capacity, rent additional space and convert it to basic capacity at any time without fines and surcharges. This eliminates the need to pay fines or make long-term commitments for short-term storage needs, while allowing capacity to be increased on demand.
The updated software functionality includes:
- Implementation of NVMe over Fabrics: also as of June 2020, Infinidat announced that with the release of InfiniBox 5.6 software, NVMe/TCP connection becomes available. Infinidat chose NVMe/TCP as its first public NVMe protocol. In addition, more and more next-generation data centers are built on Ethernet network infrastructure, and NVMe/TCP is compatible with software-defined data centers (SDDCs). Infinidat NVMe-oF support will also include FC and RoCE as required by customers.
- Replicate Data to Third Site - The introduced release ON of InfiniBox 5.5 now allows asynchronous replication of data protected by active-active replication to a third InfiniBox system at the same time, enabling disaster recovery to a remote location that is unlimited in latency and distance. By geographically stretching the performance and availability of active-active InfiniBox systems, customers can now further extend the replication distance for disaster recovery beyond the region without compromising performance.
As a service provider, every technology solution we make is designed to improve user experience. The Infinidat NVMe-oF strategy demonstrates an approach that empowers both US Signal and our customers. narrated by Marc Creviere, Chief Systems Engineer, US Signal Company |
Up to 100% additional storage capacity allowed within 30 days
On March 26, 2020, it became known that Infinidat, a provider of multipetabyte storage solutions, launched a project to support partners. The company grants customers the right to use up to 100% additional installed capacity within 30 days at no additional cost.
Due to the pandemic coronavirus , many people were quarantined, and most companies urged employees to work from home to avoid the further spread of the disease. Thus, organizations are faced with a growing need for storage capacity, data but do not always have the appropriate budget to meet this challenge. Infinidat has the opportunity to provide assistance within the framework of the company's "Capacity on Demand" concept.
The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus has struck almost the entire world. We understand that these are difficult and stressful circumstances and want to assure our partners and customers of support and empathy, says Ilya Ovchinnikov, Infinidat Sales Director in Russia and the CIS

2019: Availability in Russia InfiniBox F4240 for testing
The company, Asbis the official distributor, Infinidat on February 11, 2019 announced the availability SHD of InfiniBox F4240 in for Russia testing.
The F4240 is one of the flagship models that offers 40TB SSD cache, 680TB usable capacity, metrocluster functionality, and 99.99999% reliability. There are 24 x 8 Gb/s FC ports, 12 x 10 Gb/s Ethernet ports. In general, it is a premium versatile storage system for mission-critical applications. High performance is achieved thanks to data processing primarily (on average 95-98%) in controller RAM (DRAM) and an efficient data distribution architecture that uses all drives at the same time, as well as a significant amount of cache on solid-state drives.
Data processing in DRAM is achieved through which algorithms ON more than 120 patents are obtained - the system self-learns as requests for reading and writing and predicatively determines which data should be moved to DRAM.
According to the needs of the market in a single platform, SAN, NAS protocols are built into the InfiniBox architecture and managed from a single panel. You can use QoS to separate loads.
The Infinidat solution in the world is delivered using the Capacity on demand model (CoD, capacity on demand): with excessive usable space, which can be used in case of lack of disk space. Asbis offers to test storage directly at the customer's site.[1]
