2023: Announcement of Wastewater Treatment Technology
In January 2023, it became known about the creation in Kuzbass of an advanced technology for the treatment of wastewater without chemical reagents. A treatment plant created by engineers decomposes effluents into hydrogen ions and atomic oxygen. The water has electrostatic properties, and the metals, minerals, oil products, as well as organic matter contained in it collect sorbent and delay the filter system.
We are talking about the technology developed by the Novokuznetsk company Izot, which is a resident of Skolkovo, as well as the Energotech cluster. According to the developers, the technology can also be used for central water supply, basins, ponds and wells. Currently, scientists are working on improving installations for specific tasks and on the complete automation of the water treatment process.
It is reported that the new station can automatically adjust its performance depending on the level of water pollution, which reduces energy consumption. In addition, sorbents and filters can be reused.
The introduction of new technologies in this direction is an important factor in preserving and supporting the environmental balance, "says the head of Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev. - The development of Novokuznetsk scientists has been successfully tested at several facilities: at the locomotive depot in Topki, at the open pit in the Guryevsky district and the Zapsibovets basin in Novokuznetsk. Positive assessments of experts will allow replicating the technology both to industrial enterprises and in the communal system, at social and sports facilities. |
Unlike conventional treatment plants, the plant developed by Izot is more compact and environmentally friendly. Atomic oxygen is 300 times more efficient than bleach, which is used everywhere by early 2023.[1]
