Developers: ITELMA NPP
Date of the premiere of the system: April 2024

2024: Production start-up

In April 2024, Itelma launched mass production of autopilots for agricultural machinery at its plant in Moscow. New devices can be installed from a tractor, sprayers, combines, etc.

According to the developers, the autopilot independently controls agricultural machinery, including supporting the desired course and providing predictable machine behavior on an uneven landscape. The system is equipped with the technology of mixed processing of correction signals "Itelma Quadro" and special mathematical filters, which ensure the accurate movement of the machine along the course even with a short-term loss of signal from the satellite or RTK base station.

The new autopilot is a domestic development based on sanctions-resistant components. This not only guarantees uninterrupted operation, regardless of the fluctuations in the global political situation, but also allows you to get a worthy alternative to foreign top brands that have left the Russian market, "said Denis Dudkin (quoted by TASS).

The company said Autopilot is capable of increasing agricultural productivity by an average of 25%. By the end of 2024, it is planned to release about 4 thousand sets in electrical and hydraulic versions, adapted for various agricultural machinery.

The development will compete with other products from Russian manufacturers, including a system from Cognitive Pilot, which uses artificial intelligence and costs twice as much - just over 1 million rubles. At the same time, installing the technology of the Itelma company will cost less than 600 thousand rubles, the manufacturer says.[1]
