Jala Accione Smartphones

At the TAdviser SummIT conference which took place on November 29 in Moscow Jorge Lopez, the CEO of Jalasoft company from Bolivia, provided new smartphones of own development based on the Russian version of the Sailfish operating system (OS). In Russia the Open Mobile Platform company is engaged in development of Sailfish OS since 2012 developed by the Finnish company Jolla. The product is present at the register of the Russian software.

For the Sailfish OS Accione smartphones it was selected mainly from reasons of convenience to users and its opportunities for interaction with other systems, follows from Jorge Lopez's words. He explained that in design of Android 3 control buttons are traditionally used, in iOS – one button, and in design of Sailfish of buttons is not present at all. Actually, the user can work with the smartphone one hand, the second there is no need to involve.

One of key features of Sailfish OS developers of the Accione smartphones call that it is compatible to the existing different intelligent systems, and will be able easily to be used as a part of "smart" infrastructure, the "smart" house, city.

One of advantages of new devices in the company also call function of fast charging: in the simplest Accione model in 20 minutes the accumulator is from scratch charged for 80%. Usually such opportunities can be seen in models of higher segment.

Accione smartphones

For smartphones the special earphones competing with Beats earphones from Apple, but at the same time at the price in 1/3 from the price of these Apple earphones were created, Jorge Lopez noted.

Development of mobile devices goes the way information storages in clouds, and a question also in where there are these clouds. For Latin America extremely important to control all this structure and to manage it. Therefore in 2018 Jalasoft is going to start own cloud structure. Among the Accione functions which are in development – recognition by the smartphone of the identity of the owner and identification on a fingerprint. For the last it will be necessary to register a print in a cloud and in the smartphone.

Were presented at foreign market of the device in 2017 earlier. In October it was reported that the Accione smartphone was created by consortium of the Finnish Jolla and local^[1]. Then it was told about plans of an exit of Accione for the Russian market at the beginning of 2018. The smartphone will be available to the Russian customers first of all in a corporate and public sector.

Accione cost in Russia does not reveal yet. In Bolivia smartphones will enter the market at the price from $150 up to $299^[2].

The TAdviser SummIT conference took place in Moscow on November 29, 2017 and attracted more than 400 participants. Principal themes of an action are IT plans of the largest companies and state departments of Russia for 2018, perspectives of development of digital economy, IT products and services. Within a plenary part and five thematic sections more than 60 reports and public discussions were heard. The action took place in 5 Digital October halls.
