The robot lawyer — the service based on neural network intended for providing free consultations to citizens of Russia.

The legal online service of Pravoved.ru announced in February, 2018 start of the robot lawyer based on neural network capable to understand the questions formulated in a natural language. Less than in a second service will provide the unrolled and free answer with transfer of human rights in its situation.

The neural network studied based on, included more than 100 thousand questions which were asked by users of Pravoved.ru service. Having analyzed such volume of addresses, the Pravoved.ru command understood that questions of citizens are similar at each other, and answers to them can be automated.

According to representatives of Pravoved.ru, the robot lawyer in general increases availability of legal aid and exempts lawyers from routine work. The classical lawyer can answer at most on 15-20 questions in day, and the robot — thousands of addresses, and is the most detailed. The average cost of legal advice in Russia is 1000 rubles. Consultation of the robot is free. If the special case, case requires assessment of documents or maintenance from the client in court, on Pravoved.ru it is possible to address the lawyer person for paid consultation.

The main value of the robot lawyer is that he makes legal advice bureaus available to everyone, i.e. people can ask more often the questions more to know about the rights. Especially citizens who have no regular access to legal aid will be helped by the robot — Valery Meshkov, the founder and the CEO of Pravoved.ru emphasized

Now the robot lawyer answers all free questions arriving on the website Pravoved.ru in the field of consumer protection as it is one of the most popular subjects among users on Pravoved.ru. Up to 40% of questions in this category it is connected with purchase of household goods. According to research NAFI, 33% of Russians regularly face violations of the rights in the field of retail.

For example, if the person is interested how to return money for the broken smartphone, then the robot will give detailed consultation and will tell about all rights of the buyer, criteria of return, will report what to do if the seller refuses to accept faulty goods, skirts deadlines of return or exchange.

In the period of the closed testing the robot lawyer answered more than 2 thousand questions of users. At the same time, the robot continues to study constantly. It is supposed that in the first half 2018 the robot will be able to answer also questions from the sphere of law of domestic relations. Also start of versions of the robot for devices based on iOS and Android is planned.

The algorithm at the heart of the robot lawyer is scaled on other industries, for example, for request processing of clients of banks, insurance companies or for automation of answers to citizens' appeals in state bodies, noted in Pravoved.ru.^[1]
