Release of KC2000 NVMe PCIe
On May 20, 2019 the company Kingston Digital, Inc., subsidiary company on production a flash memory of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., company in the field of production of memory and technological solutions, announced an exit of KC2000, the solid state drive of the last generation of format M.2 of NVM PCIe for corporate and experienced users. Kingston KC2000 NVMe PCIe provides high performance thanks to the modern Gen controller 3.0 x 4 and 96-layer technology 3D TLC NAND. The drive differs with a high speed of read and write up to 3200 and 2200 MB / с1 respectively, productivity and endurance and also accelerates operation of desktop PCs, workstations and systems of high-performance computing (HPC).
KC2000 is the self-ciphered disk which supports end-to-end data protection using 256-bit hardware encryption of AES and allows to use the software for security management of TCG Opal 2.0 from independent suppliers, such as Symantec, McAfee, WinMagic and others. KC2000 is also equipped with the built-in support of Microsoft eDrive, the protected storage for use with BitLocker.
Justin Karasek noted:
KC2000 is developed for active use, especially at intensive workloads on the PC and workstations where the speed and reliability are required. SSD provides big flexibility, is available in tanks up to 2 TB2, and the form factor of M.2 helps to save space. KC2000 is a solid state drive for users who need to update the data warehouse. |
KC2000 NVMe PCIe SSD is available in the tanks of 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB2, is followed by the five-year limited warranty and technical support.
