2019: Announcement

On October 16 201 years it became known that on a roof of police cars in Russia new devices of fixing of speeding will be installed. Measurements will be made directly on the run in traffic flow.

The device under the name "Cordon.Pro-M" was shown at the Road 2019 exhibition in Yekaterinburg. It is the Russian complex which allows to fix speeding from a board of the going machine. The error of the device makes 1 km/m, and the speed fixed limit — 300 km/h, the producer claims.

The equipment is installed on a frame of the patrol car, cameras are placed in front and behind, i.e. can remove and fix by 360 degrees.

According to the head Gosavtoinspektion of Mikhail Chernikov, such equipment should replace tripods in the future. New devices, according to him, will not cause claims from drivers as it happens to mobile cameras.

The Federation of Car Owners of Russia (FCOR) doubted efficiency of new automatic complexes which are going to involve instead of the existing cameras tripods. About it Moscow 24 was told by the head of the organization Sergey Kanayev.

All cameras should be equipped with the warning signs. How to designate such machine by signs while nobody knows — the expert reported.

The coordinator of the movement "Blue Buckets" Pyotr Shkumatov in a conversation with Kommersant stated a number of concerns concerning new type of cameras. In particular, he says, the accuracy of measurements can be low if data on own speed come with GPS and from the on-board computer of the machine (such technology is applied in a beam of the Smolensk company).

Earlier Vladimir Putin demanded from road services that those ceased to hide the cameras fixing violations on dangerous sections of the road.^[1]
