2021: Announcement of the LG Rail & Pivot OLED TV

Within the exhibition of consumer CES 2021 electronics (on January 11-14) the LG Electronics company provided the Rail & Pivot OLED TV. Its feature consists in use of the rail system allowing the device to move forward under different corners from the hidden provision (for example, from a wall).

The innovation which received the 55-inch OLED display can turn horizontally or vertically for viewing content in TikTok and other social networks. Besides, as notes the Android Authority edition, the TV can be used for sports in house conditions — video with fitness exercises which need to be repeated is output to the big screen.

The transparent TV which is built in a bed back became one more product of LG which presentation took place within CES 2021: the sliding display can be used for an output of different information, be connected to the smartphone and act as the TV.

The 55-inch Smart Bed model, received the name, it is possible to use, for example, for an output of weather, rates and t. item. The device starts not completely, on clicking of the button appears entirely. Also the screen works as the alarm clock. It has the built-in audio system so additional columns will not be required.

At this LG did not tell about the main problem of transparent TVs — because of transparency at them brightness, contrast and other figures of merit of the image falls.

The producer considers that transparent displays can be useful not only at home, but also on streets. He can be set, for example, instead of a normal glass window in the car of the subway and to show on it the map of stations and advertizing.

The company showed composition with the 55-inch transparent TV under which there is an additional touch screen. On the big display it is possible to show different dishes and process of preparation, and on lower to open the menu and to add a dish to the order.^[1]
