2022: Creation of an industrial USB extension cord

The metropolitan group of companies "Lasers and Equipment" has created an industrial USB extension cord, which allows you to move the workplace of its operator 70 meters from the laser installation. This was announced on October 20, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the city, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The Moscow manufacturer of laser equipment has created an industrial USB extension cord, which provides high-speed data transmission at a distance of up to 70 meters from the laser control cabinet. Thanks to such a cable, the operator will be able to fully control the device, for example, from the next room. Such a solution ensures industrial safety and increases labor efficiency when working on laser machines. In addition, the technology is relevant in cases of lack of space in production premises, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The system consists of a cable, as well as a module for receiving and transmitting data from the machine to the workplace. It is already in production.

As a rule, the operator loads a drawing or algorithm into the machine using a flash drive, and in some industries he is also authorized in the system using a USB key. Our solution allows you to organize a full-fledged workplace at a distance from the laser installation: place a monitor, keyboard, mouse, USB ports for downloading drawings, - said Anna Tsygantsova, executive director of the Lasers and Equipment group of companies.
