Lingvo Dictionaries

Electronic versions of dictionaries from authoritative world publishing houses: The Russian language Media, RUSSO, Compact Verlag, K Dictionaries and also dictionaries prepared by lexicographers of ABBYY company.

In the basic version of Lingvo Dictionaries for downloading 23 dictionaries of the following translation directions, including 13 dictionaries are available to Russian:

• Russko<-> Angliysky, Spanish, Italian, Latin, German, French;
• English<-> German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian;
• English-> Polish, French

Besides, directly from the application it is possible to purchase more than 160 additional dictionaries for 14 languages, including monolingual and topical vocabularies. Acquisition of these dictionaries expands possibilities of the application and allows to find the most faithful translation of words and phrases and also to obtain more detailed information on a word, including a transcription, synonyms, translation variants and examples of the use. Dictionaries of the following translation directions are available to purchase:

• Russko<-> Angliysky, Spanish, Italian, Kazakh, Chinese, German, Portuguese, Tatar, Turkish, Ukrainian, Finnish, French;
• English<-> Russian, Ukrainian;
• German<-> Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, French

• Monolingual dictionaries of the Russian, English, German and Ukrainian languages.

To work with the dictionaries which are already set in the application, Internet access is not required.

The application is compatible to the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch (iOS 3.0 above).
