The M2M Telematics group announced in November, 2010 start of the large-scale program "M2M-Region Service" directed to quality improvement of customer service in Russian regions. The program assumes creation of network of the interregional service centers based on the Regional Dispatching Centers (RDC) of M2M Telematics Group existing in all large Russian cities.
At each Regional dispatching center there will be an authorized service center where testing, maintenance and running repair of a GLONASS/GPS equipment will be made that will allow to accelerate considerably processes of implementation of navigation technologies in regions.
According to the commercial director of M2M Telematics Group Andrey Platonov, the M2M-Region Service program is connected, first of all, with mass development of navigation technologies and sharp growth of number of implementations of monitoring systems and schedulings. Steady work of these systems requires quick response to customer appeals. "For the purpose of rendering first and high-quality technical support, we as leaders of the navigation market, should be one step away ahead. Therefore we consider development of wide network of the interregional service centers important competitive advantage. The market grows, and a large number of the service centers will allow to obtain accurate statistical data based on which, we will be able to expand a product line of our equipment and to offer clients new functionality of navigation and information systems", - Platonov says.
M2M Telematics has network of regional partners (67 RDTs in Russia and the CIS countries). The first authorized service center opened in Vladimir based on Alfavladtelematika company.
Until the end of 2010 M2M Telematics is going to open about 10 more service centers for all Russia, first of all, in regions where implementation of GLONASS technologies is most actively performed. Among them: Ryazan, Barnaul, Tambov and other Russian cities. In 2011 the service centers will appear at all Regional dispatching centers.
