2019: Beginning of production

On December 11, 2019 it became known of the beginning of production of the infusional systems for administration of medicines at the Novosibirsk Instrument-making Plant (NIMP) which is included into Schwabe holding of Rostec state corporation.

At this enterprise spray and peristaltic infusional pumps under the MEDEV brand and also the connection stations integrating devices in one system are marketed. At the same time installation is capable to coordinate work of 15 products.

It became known of the beginning of production of the infusional systems for administration of medicines

The infusional systems which are made at oil refinery are intended for continuous intravenous administration of medicines and is suitable for application in stationary and out-patient medical institutions and also in ambulance cars. The equipment can be used in surgery, an onkoterapiya, obstetrics, gynecology and other directions of medicine.

"Schwabe" released the first batch of devices in 150 units, the cost of one pump is estimated at 120–130 thousand rubles. Products by December 12, 2019 are available on sale.

Enterprise capacities are expected production about 3 thousand infusional systems a year. The project investment cost of "Schwabe" does not sound.

For infusional therapy in the Russian medical institutions mainly foreign equipment is used — the chief executive of Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko says. — Our task — to offer an alternative to import, adequate at the price and quality. The new infusional Schwabe equipment conforms to the high international standards and can compete with the existing models. The equipment underwent registration procedure and is allowed for use in the territory of Russia.

In 2021 "Schwabe" also intends to start based on Refinery production of devices for ultrasonic therapy of oncological diseases (HIFU therapy).[1]
