MTS Platform of vertical IoT-solutions

2019: Start of the platform

On March 29, 2019 the MTS company announced start of the platform for implementation of industry IoT-solutions and control of IoT-devices: it integrates all solutions based on Internet of Things in one management system. The platform belongs to the industrial class and allows to connect at the same time millions of smart devices, sensors and robots, emphasized in MTS.

According to the developer, the platform of vertical IoT-solutions of MTS allows to manage the digital enterprise or elements of the smart city even if they use different protocols for connection to the Internet. The solution is implemented on the Nokia IMPACT IoT platform set on MTS network and expected the industries which upgrade production within programs for digitalization. First of all it is housing and public utilities, power, transport, agriculture, the real estate, the smart city and the industry. Users of the platform will be able to conduct at the same time monitoring of indicators of a consumption of water and light, work of production lines, conditioning systems and ventilation and also to manage the office building, the parking and video surveillance.

According to the statement of MTS, the platform supports work with 10 thousand models of different devices using any available method of connection, including 2G, 3G 4G WI-FI, Ethernet and also power-intensive technology for Internet of Things NB-IoT. The platform has open API which allows integrate to it any system of the enterprise.

The interface allows to control operation of devices and also to collect, to store and process data from sensors. Data on measurements arrive in real time, they can be visualized using diagrams, indicator diagrams, cards and symbolic circuits. Users can configure any notifications, work-related the equipment and indicators of measurements. All data are stored in failsafe data processing centers of MTS with the certified protection of the TIER III level, noted in MTS.

According to information for March, 2019, it is possible to be connected to the IoT-platform of MTS through the personal manager or having left the request on the website. Integration happens to the help to Nvision Group company (enters into Group of MTS), forces of own or involved developers using API. The enterprises, integrators, front-end developers of applications and also M2M/IoT producers of devices can become users of the platform.
