2022: Introduction of a Digital Maritime Alert Assistant

On August 4, 2022, MTT JSC announced that it had become a participant in a project that would simplify the procedure for notifying sea users of boats, boats, yachts and other civilian water vehicles. The service, developed by MTT and Simple Solutions LLC, automates the notification procedure.

The solution created on the VoiceBox platform is integrated with a telegram bot that accepts notifications. Now, in order to comply with the notification regulations, the owner of the vessel does not need to call by phone and dictate information to the duty officer to write in the log, the digital assistant takes over the notification procedure.

The online chatbot collects information from ship owners and transmits text through the API to synthesize a voice message. VoiceBox converts the text into speech, independently calls the desired border authority and dictates all the information necessary for registering the application, after which it fixes the application number and sends it to the ship's owner along with the audio recording - to prove that the notification passed correctly.

The owners of ships must transmit these orally - by phone or radio, which is not always convenient in sailing conditions, - commented Evgeny Petrovsky, the creator of the platform. - Only in the Krasnodar Territory about 6,000 ships go to sea every day, and the crew does not always have the opportunity to get through to the border post in a timely manner. Having learned about this problem, we decided to offer ship owners a convenient service.
