2022: Obtaining a Virtual Cellular Operator License

The goal of the project is to ensure trusted and sustainable communication enterprises, nuclear industry as well as support the development of social programs among employees of industry organizations and their families. This will support the vector of companies' transition to a single standard in the field of telecommunication technology.

The launch of a virtual operator will solve the issue of creating a basic infrastructure for subscribers, IoT devices and IT solutions in the industry, which will ensure the comprehensive development of the Rosatom trusted communications platform, based, among other things, on solutions already used, such as an industry corporate messenger, a video conferencing service and its own applications. The solution will provide control and protection of subscriber data, the use of additional authentication factors, personalized and managed access to industry content, said Atomdat.

"Obtaining a license and preparing to launch your own telecom operator MVNO is a significant step towards creating a supporting infrastructure and maintaining a wide range of digital services. We aim to create a basic IT landscape for our numerous companies, which is part of the strategy to form a unified industry policy in the field of information technology, "said Evgeny Abakumov, Chief information officer of Rosatom State Corporation.
