2024: Product Announcement

In early December 2024, Chinese robotic startup MagicLab, also known as Magic Atom Robotics Technology, introduced humanoid industrial robots MagicBot. These machines are capable of performing various tasks in groups at enterprises.

MagicLab, founded in December 2023, aims to improve search and rescue operations, logistics and production processes. To do this, the startup is developing MagicBot robots with wide functionality and the ability to adapt to different operations. Such machines have 42 degrees of freedom, and their hands, according to the developers, are capable of imitating about 70% of human gestures.

Made from high-strength and lightweight materials to improve efficiency, the MagicBot can function on a single battery charge for up to 5 hours with continuous walking and other activities. The robot is capable of lifting loads weighing up to 20 kg. The equipment includes miniature servo drives with high torque combined with sensitive pressure sensors. The machine can hold soft and slippery objects, and positioning accuracy reaches a millimeter.

In enterprises, MagicBot robots can be used to perform operations such as product inspection, material handling, part collection and placement, code scanning and warehousing. In group scenarios, one robot can transfer goods or parts to another to improve efficiency and speed up tasks. The versatility of the machine makes it possible to use it in a wide range of industries - from household and communal services to specialized industrial activities and handling hazardous materials.^[1]
