2019: Start of Mail.ru Cloud Managed Services
On March 28, 2019 it became known that MCS started Mail.ru Cloud Managed Services – the service allowing any company to transfer service of the IT infrastructure to specialists from Mail.Ru Group. It will allow the enterprise to release more time and resources, for work with key business challenges.
According to the statement of the developer, company will receive a full-fledged outsource product which guarantees a full support and bears responsibility for quality of the services. Specialists of Managed Services in the round-the-clock mode will service IT systems of clients: optimize operation of applications, monitor services, react to emergencies and non-staff situations. Experts will execute implementation of services, will configure data backup, will audit infrastructure, etc. the Customer will be able to communicate with specialists by any convenient method — by phone, in a chat, in the ticket system, in mail.

MCS services which are serviced by Managed Services include virtual infrastructures (IaaS), Kubernetes, Databases, BigData and other applications. As noted in the company, for March, 2019 support of these infrastructures is possible on condition of their implementation only on the Mail.ru platform and use of technical solutions of MCS. Three types of services are available to the companies: administration of infrastructure, audit and consulting, implementation and configuring.[1]
