2020: Start in Russia
July 27, 2020 Mastercard announced start in Russia of service for non-cash transfer of a tip of Etiquette. It works at the MasterCard Transfer HUB platform, and RNKO of " money.Mail.ru " acts as an ekvayer.
To transfer a tip, the guest of restaurant needs to consider the smartphone a special NFC tag or the QR code which the waiter has. Then on the web page of service on the smartphone the visitor can estimate service, to leave comments and to point the amount to tea. It is possible to pay a tip with any bank card and also through mobile purses of the Apple Pay or Google Pay. Guests do not need to download any applications, service works in the browser.
Money arrives on the card of the waiter instantly. The commission makes less than 2.5%.
In Mastercard noted convenience of service to the staff of restaurants: it is enough to them to undergo the simple procedure of creation of an account in Etiquette, and at job change or with release new bank it is not necessary to update every time the data to continue to receive a tip.
On the platform waiters, cooks, managers can be registered and to receive an electronic tip on cards of the leading international payment systems released any Russian bank.
By July 27, 2020 Volodymyr Perelman's restaurants Perelman People and Lucky Group were already connected to service. The list of partners will be constantly replenished. Service will be available also in the MasterCard business halls at Sheremetyevo Airport and Pulkovo.
