2019: Mathcad Prime 6.0

On October 8, 2019 the PTC company submitted the next version of software of PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0. In the provided version of software allows to configure fields, page and page footers; add a hyperlink; start spelling for several languages; and more. Plus, release represents the engine for symbolical calculations.

Using software of PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0 it is possible to configure the sizes of fields, including page and page footers which can be used both in British, and in metric types of paper. According to the developer, work sheets of PTC Mathcad in upgraded version support the following:

• User fields:
  • It is possible to specify the sizes left and right water (the papers, British or metric depending on type)
  • the User can transfer old settings of fields when he needs to convert ancient documents

Spelling is available and supports several languages, depending on the installed system keyboards. The user can add a hyperlink to the work sheet to PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0. Details mentioned by the developer:

  • to Include / switch off all table
  • to Ignore or Add to the dictionary
  • to Set spell check language for different elections

• Hyperlinks:
  • to Add the related URL or the text
  • to Specify the web page, an e-mail client, location of the file, etc.

In upgraded version of software the user has an access to the augmented list of printing options. Besides, to find / replace subscriptions or separate parts of identifiers. Possibilities of PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0:

According to the statement of the developer, in the provided version of software the user has more versions of the application for charts - from export of the diagram in the form of the image file before increase and reduction of the diagram in the application of the chart. Updates include the following:

• Increase / reduction of the diagram in the application better to browse separate parts of the diagram
• An opportunity to save images on the diagram in several different formats
• An opportunity to find is more than templates of charts with the predetermined settings on a tape
• Access to the reference according to the application of the chart directly from an application window of PTC Mathcad Chart.

2017: Mathcad Prime 4.0

On March 15, 2017 the PTC company announced release of the version of Mathcad Prime 4.0.
