In August, 2014 Yandex.Money and Simtech announced start of the product Merchium, the platform for easy start of online store. The service of creation of shop and its hosting in a cloud of the developer from 10 GB of space for storage of files are provided free of charge. The owner of shop will not be able to unroll this system on own server, however has an opportunity to transfer it to specially purchased boxed CMS CS-Cart developed by the same Simtech company.
According to the CEO of Simtech Vladimir Kalynyak, a cloud platform of Merchium offers the same functionality, as boxed CS-Cart. Though at launch of Merchium it is focused on work in Runet, the company is going "bring it to the market of Europe and the USA where CS-Cart is already rather known". As the head of Simtech hopes, in the next two years based on Merchium about 10 thousand[1] will be created[1].
Monetization of free CMS Merchium, as envisioned by her developers, will be performed by means of charge of the commission in Market of Merchium - the mazagena where the applications superstructures created for online stores by third-party developers are on sale.
