On October 9, 2024, the Russian Helicopters holding presented the Mi-171A3 heavy multi-purpose helicopter in the Aurus configuration. The car received a cabin of increased comfort, developed by specialists of FSUE NAMI.
It is noted that with a maximum takeoff weight of 13 tons, the new version of the Mi-171A3 can transport up to 10 passengers with luggage. The flight range is 850 km. The specially designed salon provides the most comfortable conditions.
Aurus is an executive brand that becomes one of the business cards in Russia. Now these are not only cars, but also aviation equipment created in the same style and possessing the same level of comfort, - notes FSUE "NAMI." |
The regular version of the Mi-171A3 can carry up to 24 passengers or up to 4 tons of cargo in the cabin. The range of the helicopter with additional fuel tanks reaches 1000 km. The aircraft meets increased safety requirements. The machine is equipped with the latest complex of on-board radioelectronic equipment, which provides automatic and manual control day and night, including over non-oriented terrain.
The Mi-171A3 design uses a number of advanced solutions. A new reinforced fuselage with a wide use of polymer composite materials has been developed for the helicopter. The upgraded carrier system includes a highly efficient X-shaped steering rotor and a rotor with composite blades of an improved aerodynamic arrangement. Emergency-resistant fuel tanks are located in the bottom compartments of the fuselage under the floor of the cargo-passenger cabin, which increases the level of safety of the machine. In addition, the Mi-171A3 is equipped with modern navigation equipment, digital autopilot, and an air collision prevention system.[1]
