2023: Data Base of 200 thousand users of the Мойбизнес.рф portal got free access

At the end of May 2023, it became known about the appearance in the public domain of the database of the national online portal for entrepreneurs "My Business" (Мойбизнес.рф).

According to analysts at Data Leakage & Break Intelligence (DLBI), the SQL dump turned out to be merged, which includes 207,894 records, including:

• login;
• first/last name;
• e-mail addresses (207 thousand unique addresses);
• telephones (201 thousand unique numbers);
• hashed (MD5 with salt) password;
• date of registration and last activity (from 29.08.2019 to 03.03.2023).

The base of entrepreneurs "My Business" got into free access

According to the researchers, the portal site is run by CMS Bitrix, which is confirmed by the contents of the dump.

At the same time, representatives of the My Business portal denied information about the data leak, saying, emphasizing that "the мойбизнес.рф portal is exclusively a news site that does not provide services and does not collect personal data of users." They also noted that from 2019 to 2022 there was an agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and Synergy University, under which Synergy was the operator of the мойбизнес.рф portal. Their team collected and stored data. Since November 2022, the operator of the portal has become the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia "Federal Resource Center." The database was not transferred to the ministry, the administration of the My Business portal noted.

The Мойбизнес.рф portal is part of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives," aimed at comprehensively improving the entrepreneurial climate in Russia. On the portal you can find information on measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as get consultations and educational services.^[1]

2021: Small Business Support Platform Launch

In January 2021, it became known about the launch of the platform by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, which formed the basis of the digital ecosystem for supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). Thanks to this project, companies will be able to receive state support and the services they need on the basis of "one window."

As Kommersant writes with reference to the deputy head of the Ministry of Economy Tatyana Ilyushnikov, the platform is still working in test mode. 197 services and support measures are available on it, registered entrepreneurs have already received 31 thousand services, she said at a meeting of the State Duma Commission on SME Support on January 19, 2020.

Minek launched the My Business platform to support small businesses

The platform is integrated with the Federal Tax Service in terms of a single register of SMEs (work is underway to integrate with the recently launched Federal Tax Service register of state support recipients). Several banks, educational platforms and electronic trading platforms have already joined the ecosystem.

Ilyushnikova noted that the service will simplify the receipt of services by small businesses and will become a platform for accelerating companies through an individual selection of support tools and necessary services.

The "digital profile" forms the index of the "digital reputation" of the company. It is filled automatically on the basis of data from government systems and commercial sources, as well as information from the companies themselves. Based on the data collected, the platform will offer business advice and steps for its development.

The platform must become universal so that commercial services can also be connected to it. First of all, on a free basis, but some services can be paid if there is a request from the business. This will make it possible to implement the principle of seamless and cover all available tools for business, - said Ilyushnikova.[2]
