2021: Plans for development of the Safe Region platform
At the end of January, 2021 it became known of Mintsifra's plans to develop and implement the new platform for city security. Information on this project under the name "Safe Region" contains in the departmental plan of digital transformation published on the website of a federal state information system of coordination of informatization.
As told Kommersant in Mintsifry, "The safe region" will integrate such directions as video surveillance, traffic monitoring, tracking of an ecological situation, work of especially dangerous objects and a status of objects of critical infrastructure. This project is going to be revised in 2021 then its pilot implementation in a number of the subjects of the Russian Federation will begin. Mintsifra is going to spend till 2023 for development of the platform 2 billion rubles.
According to the source editions in the government, this project is also necessary for financing digitalization of municipal economy in those regions which on it have no means.
Financial and personnel opportunities of different regions strongly differ, as well as their readiness for independent digitalization, the president of Russoft Valentin Makarov says. Without federal grants, whether it be means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations or Mintsifra, according to him, a number of subjects will not be able to begin similar projects.
At the same time Mintsifra's initiative can duplicate the project of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the chief designer of this system Oksana Yakimyuk considers. According to her, research and developmental work on "The safe city" during which key standards for a system will be written is already let into the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The director of complex sales to Croc company Oleg Maydansky noted that regions were already engaged in digitalization of processes of management of the urban environment, however apply for this purpose separate solutions.
