NCR FastLane SelfServ Checkout is a technology platform of cash self-service.

The basic complete set of a system of independent calculations of NCR corporation includes recirculation of coins and notes (use of the coins and notes received from other buyers in payment of purchases for delivery issue to the following) that considerably reduces costs of shop for formation of cash cash fund and reduces labor input of carrying out collection, reducing their quantity, on average, to once in three days.

2017: NCR and Zebra Technologies expanded cooperation in the systems of service for retail

NCR and Zebra offer buyers of retail stores unique mobile service. The developed NCR of software FastLane Mobile Shopper and the made Zebra of the device for personal shopping of MC18 Personal Shopper allow buyers to save time, independently scanning barcodes on goods using the simple reader device Zebra in use. The NCR FastLane Mobile Shopper program, having received the list of the planned purchases from the user, transfers up-to-date information about required goods to MC18 Personal Shopper. It allows to reduce search time of the necessary goods considerably. Schitav the barcode using the MC18 scanner, the buyer can just put purchases in the cart and, without standing in a queue, to pay purchases in a special zone where processing of transaction is carried out by automatic cash desk of NCR FastLane SelfServ Checkout or the MC18 device.

In Russia similar technologies of service already exist - at the end of 2016 the network of hypermarkets "Gurme Globe" provided the new Scan&Go system in one of hypermarkets in the Moscow region. Thanks to the Scan&Go system, buyers independently scan goods which they put in a basket. Process of shopping in hypermarket became even more convenient: users of new service will be able significantly to save the time, they should not spread purchases on a cash tape and to expect in queue. In addition to directly scanning of purchases, Scan&Go devices are used for communication with the client: they show the additional information about goods, announce existence of discounts or special conditions of purchase, can be integrated with the existing loyalty program.

Its use also increases efficiency of protection of shop against loss of goods thanks to the warning system in real time about a possibility of theft and helps to define quickly location of the goods which are in the inadequate place with very big accuracy.
